You have to admire the way the Tories show almost as much contempt for migrants as they do for the British public... How these people get elected is beyond logic and reason...

@gaspode505 It' may be undiagnosed but it's ubiquitous and induced by a media predominantly Tory. Too many Brits with cognitive dissonance from the constant barrage of Tory mythology.

@EnjoySynthSounds I've never voted them. Neither have most people I know. The boundaries, the lack of PR, the lack of media plurality, and the cognitive dissonance of the British public all contribute to the Tory's unbelievable ability to get elected...

@NeonVisual There is a far better one, we had a streamlined service under Labour and immigration was actually a lot lower under Labour than it has ever been in the past decade. The record on immigration was Theresa May with 650,000 in her last year as home secretary. The problem is the lack of effort in processing them and closing the facilities used to house them. The Tories then put them up in hotels at your expense to wind you up like a toy. They do the same with the NHS by underfunding and understaffing it to make it seem not fit for purpose. PS not a fan of Starmer and his Labour party...

@NeonVisual I'd be happy to if I didn't live in a one-bedroom flat. However, the point is that this a governmental problem, not an individual one, Created by the Tories and legislation so they can keep using it as cover for their appalling governance...

@NeonVisual The point you fail to understand is we've always had these migrants coming here because we are signed up to international agreements that promise to provide humane treatment. Criminal gangs are not as common as you suggest and are being hyped up to give the idea that these migrants are wealthy. They are mostly desperately poor people escaping brutality. Many come from countries with civil strife that we created when we invaded such as Lybia, Iraq and Afghanistan. Some of them are fleeing from the proxy war in Syria that we are involved in. If they were processed and housed effectively they wouldn't suffer and the taxpayer would get a more efficient immigration service...

@NeonVisual An estimated 590,000 people arrived to live in the UK in 2008 while 715,000 people migrated into the UK in 2020. Those are the official figures proving it has gone up by about 15%. Proving you exaggerate a lot and have no clue what you're talking about...

Rabid Tory xenophobes wasting taxpayers' money in cruel policies. So nothing new then...

@EnjoySynthSounds Let's be honest democracy didn't even work when the Greeks invented it. But it's a step up from monarchy and feudalism. It literally means people power and yet since its inception, it has been controlled by the powerful to control the powerless. We can't claim a free market with embargoes, sanctions, blockades etc and we can't claim democracy if it's being controlled by powerful lobbyists through the wallets of corrupt politicians. We have the illusion of democracy but it more closely resembles a kleptocracy heading straight towards corporatocracy.

@NeonVisual lol utter nonsense criminal gangs? sensationalised nonsense. We're out of the EU and the Tories have been in power for over 12 years. This has nothing to do with remainers the Tories are failing to process applications and are a year behind, they create the problem and have only made it worse and increased migration since they took power. Stop using migrants as a scapegoat for all the failures of the Tories...

@NeonVisual lol I just gave you the figures up to 2020. Accept reality, the reality is that you have been caught lying and even now won't accept the actual figures. Here are the figures for 2022 proving it's lower this year and also how much nonsense you spout. "The current net migration rate for U.K. in 2022 is 2.572 per 1000 population, a 11.4% decline from 2021"

@grtcara8386 You mean Corbyn who was torpedoed by the centrists in Labour and subject to character assassination in the press? Neoliberals centrists actively working against their leader during a general election is the reason we're stuck with the Tories. Corbyn wanted to sort out our energy, NHS and national industry for a similar amount to what the Tories spent via cronyism during the pandemic. I just wonder how many lives would have been saved if we had someone competent like him during the Pandemic and that funding in the system...

@grtcara8386 You mean when the populace voted for Brexit as opposed to a political party? Thanks to Corbyn the party enjoyed the biggest swing to Labour since 1945 and he increased membership from around 200k to around 580k which made Labour the biggest party in Europe. Corbyn also turned party finances around to create a surplus within 2 years. If the centrists had supported him we wouldn't have had to suffer the past 3 years of Tory kleptocracy...

@grtcara8386 Your retort lacks any impact, it's just a nonsense jibe. So I won't waste much effort in replying. I've had a wonderful, intelligent, enlightening debate... But this wasn't it!

@grtcara8386 lol I didn't realise you were a self-admitted Blairite, I mean who idolises a man who takes money from Saudi Arabia to cover up their genocide in Yemen on the international stage? As I previously stated your retorts lack real impact. Lame ad homs akin to nursery school spats. You make about as much sense as an ashtray on the international space station and are no doubt about as useful...

@grtcara8386 lol I'm being lectured by a political illiterate who felt embarrassed after being corrected. Anyone who ever told you to just be yourself couldn’t have given you worse advice...
