Yea, but it's the erosion of British culture that most people are complaining about. How are we to drink German and Belgian beer and then go for an Indian curry or Chinese meal when foreigners are spoiling these cultural norms of British society? Where will the Greek kebab and Italian restaurants find trade if we allow this migration of culture from other places? The erosion of our Middle-Eastern religion and our Arabian currency and numeracy are being hastened by an influx of migrants which is destroying our Greek democracy...

But are Kulture!!! Our culture includes Tea and Curries from India, Chinese takeaways, Greek kebabs, Bavarian Beer, and Christian ethics from the Middle East thanks to some bloke named Jesus. We had Ska and Two-tone music thanks to the Caribbean/Jamaican influence. Mesopotamian numeracy and currency, Greek Democracy, and several contributions from the Romans including strait roads, hypocausts, irrigation, the aqueduct, sanitation etc. The ship sailed on multiculturalism genetically, culturally and literally centuries ago when we invented boats...

@jannenreuben7398 That is why we have democracy so people can choose by a majority what they want their country to be like. That is how we sort the good from the bad. My point is that multiculturalism has always existed since we learned to navigate the oceans. We were Pagans until the Romans killed off the druidic leadership on Anglesea which was the Celtic leadership that existed up until that point. We adopted new techniques and materials we learned from invaders and visitors. We have always adapted and adopted new cultures, scientific theories, materials, religious aspects and philosophies into our own. The slippery slope fallacy isn't worth my answering. But I will point out that our country was built on Social Democracy/Socialism. It has been with us since 1945 and has given our country free health care, social housing to move us out of the slums, free schooling, legal aid, national parks, public transport, public libraries, nationalised industry (until the Tories sold it off), the welfare state to protect us when we can't work because of illness or lack of available work. These ideas came from Marx and Engels who were both German. We can't avoid new ideas and why would we want to? we use logic and reason to determine whether they are right for us and democracy to implement the changes we want as a nation.

@MrDarkgreen Most of what you say is accurate, especially the last sentence. I assume you mean those 'developing nations' predominantly provide our technology (China) and our clothes (India), the Cobalt for our mobile phones is mined by kids in D.R.Congo and so we are party responsible for their emissions. At least I hope that's what you mean.

@laurisafine7932 Firstly it's a parody and you obviously don't recognise humour. We have a parliamentary democracy under a constitutional monarchy. Britain is Celtic, and Anglo-Saxons only represent 40% of English DNA. The Welsh, Scots, and Irish are Celts - True native Brits. All democracy stems from Athenian democracy as any bookworm will tell you. Church membership was around 7.5 million in 1980 and has dropped to 4.6 million in 2020, just 7.2% of the population and an average rate of decline of 1.2% per year. We are not a religious country. If you want to patronise someone over a joke make sure they don't understand more than you, or you'll end up looking foolish...

@laurisafine7932 Diptheria is a bacterial disease caused by lack of sanitary conditions due to overcrowding and lack of hygiene. Britains are vaccinated from birth. Feel free to blame the government for not giving vaccinations to those from countries that weren't vaccinated from birth and have a backlog of over 100,000 people waiting on decisions at the tax payers expense. It's a crisis that has been managed by the Tories.

In truth, democracy doesn't exist when corporate lobbyists control our representatives. You don't have to be worried about the demographics affecting democracy as people like you have allowed corporate power to ascend and billionaires to rise as demigods as we are goose-stepped into a dystopian corporatocracy...
