  1. Sorry to hear about your turn into Salter's Lode but it sounded like you have a bow thruster! Mind you it's one of the most challenging turns on the system.That was an amazing shot of the young woodpecker.I'm still out west in Worcester . I've been here for almost 3 weeks.There are almost 200 swans on the Severn here and no youngsters.Do swans with cygnets keep them away from such a large group who often seem to be arguing with each other? I don't think I'm going to be back in Northampton much before the end of October at the present rate of progress! Still lots to see.
