The current prevalent zeitgeist, which has existed among many peoples throughout most, if not all, of human history, seems to be one of anti-intellectualism, amorality/immorality, and mono-culturalism. Ron is evidently against that zeitgeist, which is, I presume, the reason why people watch him. It seems like you're against some of that, too. People might actually watch/listen to you -- maybe even me -- don't let me discourage you.

Look up and watch the most recent interview of Thomas Frank by RJ Eskow on The Zero Hour, and you'll get an idea as to why "lefties" recoil and fall in line when they enter "The Big Show" that is controlled by wealthy-class, right-wing, authoritarians.
When anyone to the left of the wealthy-class makes it to The Big Show, they are exposed to the fragility of society.
From now on, they will be reminded about the fragility that was displayed in the Capitol on January 6, 2021, and how close some of them came to being made public examples of.
They are educated about what has happened to leftists in the past in this country -- the assassination of character, the imprisonment of bodies, the deportation of citizens, the disappearance of humans, and the forced separation of souls from their consciousness.
Then, they are asked if they want to become the first/next victim(s) of the fragility, if and when the wealthy-class decides to fabricate and allow the collapse of the systems that have been infiltrated and corrupted by the wealthy-class.
For most people, self-preservation of life, even though it benefits the wealthy-class minority, is paramount to self-sacrifice for liberty, even if it would benefit the working-class majority.
The reason these self-proclaimed leftists seem so feckless and ignorant is that they are preventing the demise of themselves and their families.
At the same time, they are avoiding the kind of collapse that is imposed upon foreign countries by the US when those foreign countries democratically elect actual leftist governments.

These working-class dupes fell for the RW-propaganda of the wealthy-class that says, "sMaLL gOvErNmEnT gOOd!!!"🤪 These working-class dupes are now living the truthful-consequences of the faux-truth they voted for.
Also, I would bet that most anyone in NC, who is "living in a tent" related to the hurricane, is doing it (a)by choice, and/or (b)for clout, to (c)fuel the misplaced-outrage.
But even if these working-class dupes ARE living in tents against their will, it is important to remember, again, that they voted for their own suffering.
I've had to live in a tent against my will. BUT, I didn't vote for it.
My suffering, and the suffering of MILLIONS of people was caused by (a)the corrupt wealthy-class & their corrupt RW-politics, and by (b)the working-class dupes who voted for the corrupt wealthy-class & their corrupt RW-politics.
I have sympathy & empathy for the working-class dupes who are suffering, but most of them voted for their own suffering, and they voted for the suffering of countless other innocent working-class people.
But, just because I have sympathy & empathy for the ignorant, working-class dupes who voted for their own suffering, that doesn't mean I'm going to coddle their ignorance.
Perhaps these working-class dupes, who voted for the "tough love" espoused by RW-politics, need to experience the "tough love" which they have repeatedly voted for.
Keep voting for RW-extremist Repubs & moderate-RW Dems, and this is what you're going to get. BOTH parties are bought, owned, bribed, & controlled by the corrupt wealthy-class & their corrupt RW-politics.
Call the wealthy-class knaves. I'm sure they'll help. 🤣
Bunch of working-class dupes in the US. Helpless & hopeless morons. 🙄

@lynnr9297 That's basically the point -- "what is happening to these poor people could happen to any of us in the future." These dumb poor people are just reaping the consequences of their votes.
MOST of THESE dumb poor people voted for suffering. But THESE dumb poor people did not think they were voting for the suffering of people who look like them -- they thought they were voting for the suffering of OTHER poor people who do NOT look like them.
And, now, the smarter poor people are trying to explain to the dumb poor people that it's ALWAYS a dumb idea to vote for ANYONE'S suffering, because all poor people are susceptible to suffering at the hands of the corrupt wealthy-class & their corrupt RW-politics.
These dumb poor people don't comprehend the Paradox of Tolerance, and smart poor people are giving the dumb poor people their first lesson.
It's not pretty, but it's not surprising. In fact, it's entirely predictable.
And, the next step is, the wealthy-RWers convincing these dumb poor people that their suffering is being caused by other, smarter, innocent poor people, when, in reality, it is the wealthy-class who are the cause of the suffering.
This isn't a new plot-line. This act has been played out by the wealthy-class, repeatedly, for centuries-upon-millennia.

Dear Jordan, a lot of working-class people, here in the comments, don't seem to know the history of the Red Scare & McCarthyism. Countless progressives, leftists, socialists, communists and their families were kidnapped, deported, imprisoned, maimed, and/or murdered by right-wingers/regressives. That being said, I see that particular history is beginning to repeat itself(Trump has threatened it publicly). And, personally, I think the progressive legislators were privately warned/threatened by some right-wing/regressive legislators, because those progressive legislators all seemed to have capitulated/toned-down their rhetoric at around the same time period.
I could be wrong, but I'd be interested in what an economist/historian (like Richard Wolff or Steve Grumbine, or anyone with a sense of class-consciousness), has to say about my hypothesis, which is: progressive legislators have been warned/threatened/forced by regressive legislators to shut-up and fall-in-line out of fear for self-preservation and safety for their loved ones.
Anyway, thank you for your service, Jordan.
✌🤟✊🙏

@johnpglackin345 If Jesus showed up tomorrow, preaching his progressive message of anti-wealth, anti-violence, and anti-selfishness, you working-class dupes would help the conservative, wealthy-class authoritarians, with their corrupt RW-politics, to crucify Jesus all over again.
Jesus wouldn't join the conservative, wealthy-class Pharisees & Sadducees, nor would he join the conservative, wealthy-class Romans, nor did he support their corrupt, RW-politics.
And if Jesus was here today, and you tried to force him to join the conservative, RW-extremist, wealthy-class Repubs, or the conservative, moderate-RW, wealthy-class Dems, I bet Jesus would tell you to get that cross ready for Him, again.
You'll learn the hard way, in this life or the next. Just like the working-class dupes who (a)supported the conservative, wealthy-class authoritarians & their corrupt RW-politics, by (b)volunteering to be Confedrate & Nat-C soldiers.
Christ warned us about the conservative wealthy-class, & their corrupt RW-politics, in the Bible. And I'm doing His work by warning you, now.
You're on the wrong path.

RW-politics are anti-working-class politics.
RW-politics are pro-wealthy-class politics.
ALL of US-politics, and MOST of international politics, are RW-politics.
Racism, sexism, misogyny, ethnocentrism, and theocracy are ALL systems of RW-politics.
Monarchism, Feudalism, Capitalism, Republicanism, Corporatism, & Fascism are ALL systems of RW-politics.
ALL systems of RW-politics involve the wealthy-class enslaving the working-class.
ALL systems of RW-politics eventually regress into the worst aspects of slavery.
All of RW-politics, and ALL of the people who vote for RWers, are pro-slavery.
Vote for the RW-extremist Repubs, for the fast, open-road to the wealthy-class enslaving the working-class.
Vote for the moderate-RW Dems, for the slower, disguised-road to the wealthy-class enslaving the working-class.
Vote for the RW-extremist Lolbertarians and the moderate-RW Greens for more of the same.
Only two political parties have been in control for my entire life (and for the last 100 years for that matter), and NEITHER of those two parties have solved ANY of the major problems that are faced by working-class people. In fact, quite the opposite.
BOTH parties have ALLOWED & ENABLED the wealthy-class to CAUSE the problems for the working-class.
ALL of US-politics and ALL of its political-parties, are bought, owned, bribed, & controlled by the indecent, wealthy-class knaves and their corrupt RW-politics of enslavement.
Furthermore, ALL of the biggest problems in the world, and MOST of the smaller problems, are caused by [a]the indecent, wealthy-class knaves & their corrupt RW-politics, and by [b]the indecent, working-class dupes, like you, who support the indecent, wealthy-class knaves & their corrupt RW-politics.
You've been so busy conforming to the indoctrination of the RW-propaganda that has been produced by your wealthy-class masters, you wouldn't even know LW-politics if its policies freed you from your own enslavement
Now, that's the most education you've gotten in decades, and your wealthy-class masters don't want you to learn -- just like they didn't want their slaves to learn during the Confederacy -- because they knew/know that stupid people make better slaves.
And, alas, your wealthy-RW masters have lifestyle-addictions that need to be satiated, and you can't be contributing to their production if you're wasting your time writing nonsense -- besides, your wealthy-class masters write more effective propaganda than you, anyway -- so get back to work, you dupe.
And don't forget to cast a RW-vote for your own RW-enslavement this RW-election season!
Oh, btw, congratulations...🥳
...you're an indecent, working-class moron. 😒
Just like your indecent, wealthy-class masters designed you to be, with their corrupt RW-politics.🙄

@joshuaholmes7818 Part 1: Your claim that "Right vs. Left is so irrelevant..." is a prime example of American anti-intellectualism. There is, indeed, a difference between Right-wing and Left-wing politics. And RFKJr won't speak any truth about it.
1a.
Right-wing economic politics: Pro-wealthy-class minority-rule & Anti-working-class majority-rule.
Left-wing economic politics: Pro-working-class majority-rule & Anti-wealthy-class minority-rule.
1b.
Right-wing economic politics: A minority population of large-business owners rules the economy.
Left-wing economic politics: A majority population of small businesses rules the economy
1c.
Right-wing economic politics: Privatization of the economy, based on profits for the few people in the wealthy-class minority.
Left-wing economic politics: Nationalization of the economy, based on the needs of all people.
2a.
Right-wing social politics: Pro-hierarchy & Anti-equality
Left-wing social politics: Anti-hierarchy & Pro-equality.
2b.
Right-wing social politics: Autocracy.
Left-wing social politics: Democracy
3a.
Right-wing electoral politics: Pro-financial-corruption
Left-wing electoral politics: Anti-financial-corruption
3b.
America's right-wing electoral politics are evidenced by the pro-wealthy-class & anti-working-class leadership of BOTH the Republican AND Democratic Parties in America,
America's left-wing electoral politics are evidenced by... Well, there are no pro-working-class & anti-wealthy-class political parties in America.
And RFKJr won't explain that.
I could go on.
You said: "Most politicians on both sides accept millions in corporate money..."
Right. They do. Because most American politicians, on both sides, are wealthy-class right-wingers.
Both major American political parties, and most-to-all of the minor American political parties, are bought, owned, bribed, and controlled by wealthy-class right-wingers.
MANY, and probably MOST, of the wealthy-class right-wing billionaires contribute to the campaigns of BOTH wealthy-right-wing millionaire Repubs and wealthy-right-wing millionaire Dems.
RFK won't expose that.
The Tea Party and Libertarian Party were started, and are funded, by wealthy-class right-wingers. Same for the "Freedom" Caucus[what a joke].
The Green Party was infiltrated by wealthy-class right-wingers [Jill Stein & company].
The DSA has also been infiltrated by wealthy-class right-wingers.
The Forward[regressive] Party is funded by and composed of wealthy-class right-wingers.
The Justice Democrats have been stifled by the wealthy-class right-wingers in the Dem party.
The Congressional Progressive Caucus is made up of MOSTLY wealthy-class right-wingers.
And RFKJr won't tell the truth about that.
But, still, here you are -- "LeFt vS. RiGhT iS sO iRrelEvAnT..." -- saying things that only a fool or a knave would say. And it's only less relevant to working-class Americans because there is no left-wing political power in America.
And the better, smarter working-class people of the world laugh at working-class Americans because working-class Americans are too stupid, and addicted, to comprehend it.
FFS...
The exploration of the American landscape was funded by wealthy-class, right-wing Europeans.
The theft of the American landscape from, and the genocide of, the Native rightful-owners was funded and perpetuated by wealthy-class, right-wing Europeans.
The writers of America's "founding" documents were wealthy-class, right-wing Europeans.
America IS NOW and has ALWAYS been an economically and socially right-wing country.
America IS NOT now and has NEVER been a Democracy. America has NEVER had a Universal-Suffrage. America is BARELY a Republic.
BOTH political parties have engaged in the negation of Democracy via voter suppression, gerrymandering, and campaign/electoral corruption.
BOTH political parties have been in a position to change those things, and BOTH parties NEVER have.
And RFKJr won't tell those truths.
Wealthy-class right-wing Repubs, Dems, & Kennedys have been in political power for many decades of my life, and NONE of them have eradicated poverty OR corruption. Because the only way the wealthy-class right-wing hierarchy continues is via corruption. And they depend on poverty to scare morons (like you, maybe?) from stepping out of line.
If you're really concerned with the financial corruption in American politics then these SCOTUS cases will help you:
1. Buckley [right-winger] v. Valeo (1976)
2. First National Bank of Boston [right-wingers] v. Belotti (1978)
3. McConnell [right-winger] v. FEC (2003)
4. Citizens United [right-wingers] v FEC (2010)
5. McCutcheon [right-winger] v. FEV (2013)
The decisions in those cases explain how the wealthy-class right-wingers legalized corruption in the U.S.
RFKJr won't say jack about those cases.
There is a seemingly working-class left-wing group of people -- Wolf-PAC -- who have been actively working in individual states for over a decade now, trying to provoke a Constitutional Amendment.
Wolf-PAC has received bipartisan support from BOTH right-wing political parties at the state-level, and they have made much progress over the past decade. But they receive NO support from the right-wing political parties at the national-level where corruption is most deeply rooted.
If you want to help, then Wolf-PAC is probably the best place to direct your efforts.
RFKJr won't share that.
To be continued...

@joshuaholmes7818 Part 2: I could go on. But I'll try to wrap it up here.
The sooner you learn that you're making the same mistake that millions of working-class fools have made before you, the sooner you can make a decision:
A. Stop aiding and abetting the wealthy-class, right-wing minority, with whom you have very little in common, in their conquest for world domination via minority-rule and right-wing politics.
OR
B. Continue aiding and abetting the wealthy-class, right-wing minority in their conquest for world domination via minority-rule and right-wing politics, to the detriment of the working-class people with whom you have the most in common.
Choice "B" requires you to continue on your current path; verbally and textually fellating wealthy-class right-wingers -- like RFK, who are never going to let working-class fools, like you, into "the club" of the wealthy-class -- during which time you'll remain oblivious, wondering why your station in life remains stagnant and the wealthy-class keep getting wealthier.
Choice "A" requires actual work.
To comprehend right-wing versus left-wing politics, you'll need to learn:
1. Economic politics versus Social politics.
2. Autocracy versus Democracy.
3. Minority-rule versus Majority-rule
4. Social-authoritarianism versus Social-freedom
5. Nepotism versus Meritocracy
6. Work versus Labor
7. Wants versus Necessities.
8. Hyperbole versus Nuance.
9. Propaganda versus Information
10. Opinions versus Facts
11. Class consciousness.
12. Power structures.
13. The context of international & historical politics.
RFK doesn't want people to know those things.
Those topics will be difficult to study in America, due to the infections of anti-intellectualism, anti-internationalism, and anti-history.
And it's obvious that you're a victim of the wealthy-class, right-wing propaganda of American-exceptionalism, so you're going to have a long road of learning ahead of you.
There are many more topics to study (learning is a lifelong process), but that list is a good start.
And that's ok. You're not alone. There are LITERALLY tens-of-millions of duped American fools, just like you. For example:
In the last American election for POTUS, 150+ million American fools voted for wealthy-class right-winger Trump and wealthy-class right-winger Biden. And a little more than half of those 150+ million fools (like you) thought they were voting for a left-wing candidate (Biden is a right-winger).
RFKJr certainly won't share that with his followers.
Politics, like most things, has been studied for centuries.
The politics & policies of tribes, communities, kingdoms, nations, and empires have been recorded, saved, stored, lost & found, transcribed & re-transcribed, compiled, studied, examined, sorted, and exposed by intelligent people for centuries.
From those centuries of political scholarship, a scale of politics has been solidified to help intelligent people discuss and comprehend politics in historical and international contexts.
And just because there are working-class Americans with child-brains stuck in adult-sized bodies, with six-month-old YouTube accounts, whose shallow-knowledge renders them incapable of comprehending the depths of which they are unaware, doesn't mean it isn't so.
You won't hear about any of that from RFKJr.
Because he doesn't want to end up like his father and uncle.
So, instead, he has capitulated to the wealthy-class right-wingers who "did in" his father and uncle.
He isn't "the only candidate" saying jack about anything -- he's a broken right-wing record on a wealthy-class record player.
And his attempts at preaching "populism" are as transparent as Trump's, and working-class American fools are falling for it, just like the working-class American fools who fell for Trump.
And, now, just like the rest of the wealthy-class right-wingers, RFKJr relies on your ignorance to maintain his position in the economic/social hierarchies.
He, and they, LOVE hearing working-class American fools say ignorant things, like: "LeFt vS. RiGhT iS sO iRrelEvAnT..."
He and the other wealthy-class right-wingers are mentally-ill addicts, addicted to greed and so much more.
They would sooner sabotage your working-class family, friends, neighbors, and community, or murder the lot of you than give up their addictions.
Better yet, they would rather convince working-class fools, like you, to do it to yourselves so they don't have to.
And, in fact, they HAVE already convinced working-class fools, like you, to do it to yourselves so they don't have to.
Wealthy-class right-wingers have been doing this all throughout history, and they will NEVER stop.
Just like all of the wealthy-class right-wingers throughout history, he, and they, will NEVER, EVER willingly give up their addictions. Just like the right-wing Nazis and right-wing Confederates wouldn't.
RFKJr won't tell the truth about anything I've written, because he benefits from working-class fools, like you, believing lies.
But you think it's irrelevant.
Good luck with that.

@joshuaholmes7818 It seems we agree on the state of American politics (the first five or six sentences of your response). I apologize for any incorrect correlation or accusation I levied against you. It seems I miscalculated your grasp on the situation.
Now -- in contrast to you being a "single issue voter" -- I'm a NON-VOTER.
Yes, you read that correctly: I do not vote. I'm probably done voting in this life.
My reasons are my own -- they're spiritually and morally rooted -- and most people don't agree with me. And that's ok.
Moving on; I agree with your sentiment on the merger of state and corporate power.
But I don't blame "the merger" in and of itself -- a merger isn't a tangible object, it is not a living thing, just like a corporation isn't a living thing.
I blame the corrupt people who are pushing the corrupt merger -- they are very tangible, and very much alive. And, as far as my brain can tell, this corrupt merger has been going on since the beginning of America.
Capitalism is a right-wing economic ideology. And America's founders, by my estimation, were Capitalists.
Corruption is baked into the Capitalist system. Wealthy right-wing Capitalists have indoctrinated most people with the idea that competition is virtuous. But there is no virtue in participating in a corrupted competition.
The wealthy-class has invaded every facet of life with competition. And competition, like Capitalism, necessitates winners and losers.
The founders were certainly some of the winners of their time. And they were only able to win so big because other people lost so much.
And, from what I know about history, there is no amount of voting that will undo the right-wing corruption of wealthy-class addicts and their armies of working-class addicts.
In fact, historically, there seems to be only one thing that has relieved right-wing addicts from their corruption and addictions.
But, alas, I am non-violent and anti-violence.
So I won't be putting on a Union or Allied uniform to participate in the modern-day advance against right-wing extremism.
My refusal to participate in violence is concurrent with my refusal to participate in voting.
I won't do it.
Not if it's legislated.
Not if I'm conscripted.
Not if I'm forced.
Not at all.
Wrapping up now.
You said: "I'll support a candidate who is talking about addressing financial corruption in any capacity..."
That seems principled. I would encourage you to stick with that.
You asked: "...because I don't see any other candidate saying anything like that. Are there any?"
.
Well, Williamson has talked about that. And so has Bernie Sanders and AOC. But so has Matt Gaetz and MTG. (So, you know, grain-of-salt, and whatnot.)
You said: "If so, point me in that direction..."
If I knew of a candidate who was actively speaking out against the merger of corporate-state corruption, AND if I knew that such a candidate was successfully persuading working-class people away from the right-wing political parties, I would point you in their direction. BUT...
I would also suggest that you stand at least 100-yards away from that candidate. For your own safety, if you catch my drift.
You asked: "Are there any presidential candidates that you support?"
Jokingly, I support the sweet release of my own end.
But, seriously? No. There are no candidates I support.
Bernie was the closest, but I didn't vote for him.
As far as I can tell, Bernie has capitulated to the right-wing. Bernie lived through the first "Red-Scare" and McCarthyism. I presume he's decided that he doesn't want himself or his family to be victims of the next one.
So, I am even less inclined to vote for him than I was in 2016/2020. And even then, I wasn't very inclined.
I guess I'm not much help. :)
