  1. Exactly. That's why I think core academics and general electives are plain stupid if they're not relevant to your degree. We need to lower the amount of time people spend in university. At best we only need about 1 - 2 years, maybe even less if some degree curriculum is redone properly, but no, it's all about maximum university time spent so that tuition rates can go up and funding can go to the sports programs.
