  1. While I like your interest in spiritual things, I disagree. God does have the power to change things, but 1 John 5:19 states that the world is lying in the power of the wicked one. This means that this system of things is being controlled by the devil, not God. It makes sense because 1 John 4: 8 mentions that God's main quality is love. A loving god would not cause the suffering we face. The suffering is caused by the devil and our own actions. But the Bible mentions that there is a brighter future ahead where all these problems we see will be done away with (Revelation 21: 4).
