@piper3032 yeah, it was around yr 2000 that I noticed the way the reporters would phrase their questions to set the tone of their agenda. It really offended my intelligence, and I stopped listening to NPR&PBS.

@martinmillard1408 back in the day, Gwen Ifill was the only host that didn't offend my intelligence. Scott on npr & judy on cptv are the bottom of the barrel, with their carefully crafted questions that aid their whacko narrative.

In December 2020, I was on a business trip to China, & stayed in Wuhan. The bat soup was really good. If you go there, I highly recommend it. Look for the lady with the bamboo push cart. Easy to spot, she has beautiful long black hair and a straw hat.

I'm in the same camp. They used to give both sides somewhat equal time. Around 25 yrs ago, I noticed the way they were phrasing their questions. They were meant to elicit a response that aligned with the left's narrative. Quit watching / listening about year 2000.

@ShempDavidNiven The land line is great for when some company "needs" my phone number. I never answer it. Occasionally I listen to messages: My warranty is about to expire, my house needs new windows, my best friend is stuck in a foreign country & the irs wants me to call them back.
