@taoist32 I was born long ago, in a galaxy far away.
2
@keart65 That's right. I call it personal responsibility. For yourself & your family.
2
My daughter says her dad, me, is her hero. She says I'm brave. She says the only thing I'm afraid of is mom...
2
@johngregory662 I painted an Austin Healey Sprite with rattle cans. Believe me when I say it was the worst paint job I ever saw. And my right hand was in a cramp for a week.
2
I was going to mention the same thing. It would add time to the build, but could yield a stronger, longer lasting bow, IMHO. I saw Clay Hayes try it, but he had issues on his first try. Not sure if he perfected his process.
2
@tectardedprepper8954 I have a log book for my generator. It runs for a half hour every other month. The engine oil must get up to operating temperature. The gasoline is ethanol free. Expensive but doesn't ruin the fuel system. In USA, most pump gas has ethanol mixed in.

Whenever I practice archery, I try to end on a bullseye. I hope it will stick in my muscle memory 🎯 Although I have wondered about both of these weapons for years, I have never seen either in actual use. Thanks for showing us! From 🇺🇸
2
Stay Free my Taiwanese sisters & brothers. (From an old white guy in the USA)🇺🇸
2
@kjpierson1152 That's interesting. Sadly my neighbor cut down a black walnut tree a few years ago. I used some scraps to smoke some fish. Should have saved some for projects!
2
@OhPervyOne I'm pretty good at smoke signals. Learnt that from watching John Wayne movies.
2
Plus the PSI will be higher because there is less surface area & the pressure would/should be the same.
2
You made a throwing stick. Amy turned it in to a boomerang!
2
I'm 70. Having some fun in my back yard, and even in the cellar during winter (50 foot range). I shoot a 20# draw weight. Haven't messed up my shoulder yet.
2
Who would trust virtual money?
1
Yeah, between this & her dad's screwdriver!
1
9:35 you mentioned the apple cider vinegar for acid reflux. I would love to know more about that, because I have the same issue. (I'm eating antacid tablets every day)
1
See if you can get a tour of the Glock factory!
1
Back in 1977 I bought a bright blue backpack. Regretted it.

@vikingskuld Generally speaking, D2 is chosen for it's ability to attain high hardness. Often it will be heat treated (hardened & tempered) to 62-64 on the Rockwell C scale. Tempering at a higher temp can bring hardness down to RC 58-60. Double tempering at an even higher temp can bring the hardness below RC 58, which would be tougher than the higher RC numbers. D2 is a through hardening steel, and is great for punches & sheet metal forming dies. It may be used to make hot forging dies, but there are tougher steels that are better for that purpose. Been retired a few years, & going from memory. I'm sure you will correct me if I have it wrong.
1
@vikingskuld i believe you know your stuff. I never made a knife, worked in aerospace. Loved the field trips to the closed die forging companies.

White room, white table, totally unexpected from Lilly, but its an interesting twist.
1
Lilly will preserve the human race when the shtf.
1
@user-oo8xp2rf1k Ever hear of "A government of the people, by the people and for the people."? Abraham Lincoln, November 1863.
1
Basic smart move is to Boot the incumbent politicians.
1
@guysolis5843 maybe the masses are.
1
@user-oo8xp2rf1k There are a few that are standing up, & I'd hate to see them go, but the "career politician" has to be stifled.
1
@konrad1245 I'm in US, but my British friends tell me similar things.
1
@Old-Dog-Max We're just about the same age, I'm just 3 years younger. Seems AZ is going blue, TX will be one of the last refuges. I'm hoping to leave New England & end up in TN or TX.
1
@Old-Dog-Max Some truth to what you said. I just spent the evening around a campfire with 4 of my left wing neighbors. In essence, they are nice people & we had a good evening, but their politics are reprehensible.
1
Keep them away from my bird feeder!

Lory smith what's nwo?

Bro, I'm 70 and two years ago, bought a bow with a 20# draw weight. I have had previous shoulder injuries, but I'm having a load of fun with the light bow, and also shoot slingshots at old 8 inch circular saw blades. Bonus; the neighborhood kids love to visit me and they get some basic training & fun! Their parents are very supportive too! Flinging paintballs with a slingshot is a blast, especially when they hit the tree in the back yard.
1
@ellenbrooks5028 my mom had an eye in the back of her head. She always knew when I was screwing up.
1
Only one lion.
1
Bro, I love the archery vids! And all the others too.
1
I read the comments when the ad plays!
1
Fascinating experiment, Thank You! I love experimentation & will try this today. P.S. Been shooting for just 2 months & loving it! (30# recurve, no sights, for learning)
1
I set up a target / thin sheet of news print. Result: round holes with three radial tears. I guess the archery shop set me up correctly with my new bow! (Haven't shot arrows since I was 7 years old, about 60 years ago)
1
I'm more of a mustard man than a ketchup guy. Those wax/cotton fire starters are a great idea. Everyone should have a few in their bug out bag for rainy days. That animal noise in the dark may have been a fox. They have a few different vocalizations.
1
Survival Prepping Videos for American Patriots I quit Christmas, except for the children. Growing up, my family was poor, but my mom started Christmas shopping in the summer. When she had a few extra $, she would buy a present and hide it until Christmas came around. She made sure my siblings & I always had something nice, something we really appreciated! I sure do miss my mom ❤

Me - big dummy. I just changed the leaf springs on my Jeep and recycled them. I should have kept some material and played around with making a knife. Too late now.
1
@jason_m_schmidt622 and if pukin say no?
1
You folks need to boot out ALL incumbent politicians at every election cycle. (Same here in USA). If you recognize the politician's name, they've been in office too long! Lilly, come to USA!
1
At 4:50, I'm so glad those containers have secure latches.. if one opened up when it hit the floor, I would have cried. Fortunately, we just got a giggle! I agree that governments want inflation. They can print money and pay back debt with money that has lower value.
1
@Hathur the smart people in power made the bed, now they will sleep in it. Except, they are rich, no so the common folks.
1
So sad, I threw out a hundred pounds of wax candles my mother was hoarding after she passed away.

@jannrhoads5836 did you delete your original comment?
1
@jasonantigua6825 right, use other people's money!
1
@jannrhoads5836 maybe yt deleted it???
1
@jasonantigua6825 Absolutely yes, that's how most people hit it big! They have to be smart & hard working, and maybe start small. When it's time to grow, borrowing can make the big difference. Both the lender & borrower can do well. (Like the Sharktank tv show)
