  3. ​ @StevesWorkshop my mom called the P1800's the "grasshopper car" because the rear fenders swooped up and reminded her of the hind legs on a grasshopper. When Karmann Ghias were an everyday sight, I thought they were the ugliest thing on the road. Now in my 70's, they've grown on me. Actually pretty cool looking cars!
