The key here folks is that the "richest or one of the richest" man on the planet got to be where he is because the capitalist state subsized the losses in his investments while privatized the profits....i.e. directly into his pockets. This is not unique to Musk. All of the super rich work this way and almost all of the lesser rich as well. Case in point the is the bailout by the US government of Silicon Valley Bank (SVB) in the co called "baking crisis" of 2023. SVB was a bailout of the rich, full stop. They didn't even try to hide it. Of course, you also have the so called "financial crisis" of 2008 2009, etc etc.

However, when it comes to helping out the masses, the capitalist state will take food away from poor kids, as they did when they ended the expanded Child Tax Credit (CTC) at the end of 2021. This initiative, along with other pandemic relief measures, which they also ended, helped drive child poverty to a historic low of just over 5% in 2021.... Nevertheless, what matters is helping out the rich, not the masses, so even after the child poverty rate more than double to roughly 12% in 2022, the the U.S. government moved "heaven and earth" to bail out the rich depositors of Silicon Vallley Bank in 2023....yeah, that's the government your tax dollars pay for.
