  4. It is worst than that.....because the profits of the capitalist class is but the unpaid labor of the working class. If there is no working class there is no unpaid labor to be exploited and thus, no profits. In the present situation however, the less the capitalsits pay the workers, the greater the unpaid labor they received, thus the greater the profits of the capitalist class. This is all you need to know to explain the massive push towards AI, automation, etc....

  5.  @rideroftheweek  You are correct friend and the old philosopher/scientist Karl Marx and Engels solved this back in the 1800's: a society that does not require money aka socialism. And no not what the USSR had under Stalinism, that's not what Marx and Engels were talking about. To equate the USSR to socialism is to equate NAZI Germany under Hitler to "free market capitalism"......

  11. The bottom line, pun intended is this: the profits of the capitalist class is but the unpaid labor of the working class. Which is to say, the less the Oligarchs, the mega capitalists, pay their workers the greater their profits.....thus the unending push to use AI to replace workers, crush unions or have corporate unions, buy off government and bascially have Oligarchic rule in the US Republic. The capitalist game is rigged folks....and rigged in favor of the big capitlalists, especially. That is why THEY call it CAPITALISM. If it was rigged in favor of the working masses, it would be called anything else but capitalism.....yes, Socialism as described by Karl Marx is the best example and no the USSR under Stalinism was not what Marx had in mind. To say as much is to equate Nazi Germany , under Hitler, as free market capitalism.
