A woman-child speaks. But there is no climate crisis. The Earth was warmer in the recent and distant past. It also warmed faster in the past.

@Zenger Gazette I am certainly not denying that the climate changes. It will change even if unperturbed by extraneous influences. I'm not even denying that CO2 is a greenhouse gas. But its effects are turning out to be modest, and ones to which we can adapt. Our 'cures' may turn out to be worse than the 'disease'. I will assume your point about me drinking dirty water was flippancy.

@Zenger Gazette I quite agree that we should try to provide clean water, nutritious food, and a pleasant environment for our fellows. To do this requires wealth, the development of technology, and the production of cheap and reliable energy. At present and for the foreseeable future, this will require the consumption of huge amounts of fossil fuels globally. There's no getting away from that. However, the actual warming and the subsequent effects caused by this appears - from my perspective at least - to be marginal, and some may even be beneficial.
