I had a disconcerting experience teaching in a state school last year. It was a year group assembly. The deputy head teacher started by apologising for not having originally been a true believer, then he instructed everyone to raise their arm in salute, and recite an oath in praise of transgenderism. Other teachers went up and down the aisles making sure everyone had their hands raised and were reciting the oath. It was like watching a mini Nuremburg rally. This process was repeated with all the year groups throughout the school. Printed versions of the oaths were put up on display in every single classroom. Pure propaganda and indoctrination.

@benpannett3372 I couldn't believe what was happening at the time. I was a little shocked and confused. Maybe a little unaware of the changes taking place in education and society at large. If I ever came across this situation again I would like to think I would speak up immediately. I think what happened could be considered illegal: Section 406 of the 1996 Education Act prohibits the promotion of partisan political views, and any idea that is contentious.
