CAPTAIN HOOK don't tell him that. He thinks we're still in the 19th and 20th century and doesn't know the police force here is multicultural now.
2
@zhaoraymond8656 yes but these were illegal stations without the approval of the Dutch government. So it doesn't really apply to this situation. I personally, as a Dutch citizen, do not want Chinese police or "service" stations on our territory. For obvious reasons.
2
As a Dutchman I was surprised how this was possible in the first place.
2
@vanessali1365 I think it is alarming that such stations existed for such a long time without the government knowing. Another case for improving national security, as this is a breach of national souverenighty.
2
@MatejzKosic for asserting our national souverenighty for kicking out illegal Chinese police stations? Hahaha clown. Ofcourse we can't the way you do. It's called protecting your citizens.

@just1it1moko yeah the "Dominee en handelaar" mentality. Sadly to often the merchant wins in these cases. Like with Qatar. I am glad we do the right thing now instead of again letting money be the deciding factor.

@MatejzKosic 1. the fact we bought gas from Russia. 2. Ousting of Turkish politicians during their elections. 3. To many as NL didn't care about the opinion of the US under Trump (I actually have a clip of Dutch Prime Minister Mark Rutte disagreeing with Trump live on TV). 4. American ambassador forced to clarify himself for statements made in regards of Dutch society (I have, albeit Dutch, clips of his statements and the Dutch reaction on it). Which was a reaction similar to the current one towards China. And I can continue and continue.

Refusal to participate in the Iraq invasion. Buying gas and oil from Russia. Kicking out of Turkish politicians, which caused a diplomatic incident between Turkey and the Netherlands. I can keep continuing. You clearly have no knowledge of the Netherlands. The Netherlands, being mostly Liberal, agrees on many things, not all, with the US not because we are forced, but we think alike with alot of things. Not weird considering our histories. We were one of the first to even recognise their independence. You probably are used to the Russian way of making "friends" aka domination. So you don't understand that some countries can just be allies. We are their ally for more than 200 years. That was before they became a world power, genius. This situation with China has literally nothing to do with the US, but with Dutch sovereignty. The Chinese police bureaus have to go, they have no place here.
1
@MatejzKosic yes we send troops later as part of the NATO mission. Not the American invasion. Lmao talks about ww2 gold hahaha. Hahaha you have no idea of actual Dutch history of culture. Stay mad bro, but we are kicking your country out. As we have the right to do.
1
@LANDBACKbyANYmeans wait did the OP colonise a country? Oh no he didn't. So you are just using history to justify your own actions, got it.
1
@goldmanking7468 bs. Also the Dutch reestablished control over most of Indonesia after ww2. The reason we gave up on Indonesia was the US. Also, no we wouldn't still be ruling there. As apparently you have no knowledge of Dutch independence or you'd known we willingly have independence to Suriname. In the case of the Japanese, real tough invading a neutral country (and in the case of Japan a historical friend). But it you are such a hero, you can fight in a war now and show how courageous you are keyboard warrior.

@joeblack4436 they react like that annoying gf we all had at one point. You have done something stupid or said something mean? You will hear it the rest of your life. Then when she does some sh*t and you say something about it, they'll start about your earlier mistake again. This is the logic of these people starting about colonialism.
1
@zhaoraymond8656 "the Chinese have never done this"... no.. I think the difference is that they were never caught doing it. I am sure every majoir power in the world at some point has done this sh*t.

@goldmanking7468 you are an absolute dumbass. Atleast get your facts straight. The Congo was never colonized by the Dutch, moron. It was first the private property of the BELGIAN king Leopold as the Congo Free State and after that it became a colony of the Kingdom of BELGIUM. 🤣🤣🤦♂️🤡
1
@goldmanking7468 hahaha did you quickly delete your comment because of your apparenly lack of history and your apparent stupidity?
1
@goldmanking7468 haha such nice ad hominems. So YT deleted it because even YT realised what a dumbass you are xD. No it weren't Dutch people you moron. They were Belgians. You know the people living in Belgium? Hahaha. You are honestly impressive, you try to attack me on a historical mistake, which every country has made, including yours. But you manage to state a historical mistake of the wrong country xD I could give plenty of examples of actual terrible things in our colonial past. The stuff in the Congo isn't part of it xD. However it says how weak your argument is, when you try to resort to this
