@tosk2098 I know Albania is a peaceful country. Also I didn't mean it offensive or anything. I just recalled that this was a specific condition for Kosovo's independence. By no means does it reflect my personal opinion.

@tosk2098 yeah I know they say Albanians are Ilyrrians which would predate the arrival of the Slavs in the region by centuries or even a millenium

@angelina6543 and there is the Serbian supremacist racist.

@angelina6543 Britain almost? What history have you been reading? The Umayyads were stropped at the battle of Tours in modern day France

@angelina6543 and you believe in the myths about the middle ages too 🤦♂️.

This is actually proven by historians to be a myth. Most countries have gotten rid of such historical myths for their countries, Serbia apparently hasn't.

@tosk2098 isn't Kosovo specifically forbidden to join Albania? Like Austria and Germany? I support Kosovar independence from Serbia but I think this is the case isn't it?

@tosk2098 Macedonia is one hot iron that I am personally not going to burn myself on. In ancient times it was partly Greek and partly Ilyrrian (I believe you claim being the descendants of the Ilyrians) with the Kingdom of Macedonia being ultimately a Greek Kingdom. Later on the Northern part of Macedonia got inhabited by Slavs. Southern Macedonia is now Greek province which seems about right to me. Nothern Macedonia though... the Bulgarians used to claim the region and say the Macedonians are Bulgarians, the Serbians used to hold the territory and say the Macedonians are Serbs. The Greeks take offensive of them calling themselves Macedonians, and only now fixed this. The Macedonians consider themselves a separate people and claim Alexander the Great as their ancestor (which let's me honest is ridiculous as he was a Greek not a Slav) and there also being Albanians living in the country of North Macedonia. So to me that is one complicated mess. About Ioaninna I believe this was an ethnically Illyrian region that was part of the Kingdom of Epirus in ancient times, which was a Greek Kingdom and has afterwards always been part of Greek administrative units I believe. It is now part of Greek region of Epirus right?

@tosk2098 I do love that the OP, as a Serb, uses the same rethoric as the Rusians, and the Nazis in 1939 tbh, for his claim. A historical claim, but he doesn't understand that this works both ways and that if the world worked like this, his own country would be at the receiving end of foreign claims as well.
