It first in the Imperialist way of thinking. In their eyes Ukraine isn't an equal. Actually they think the smaller countries have no say. If the US would have agreed, it would have been very dangerous for the smaller countries.

@puma7171 second thing would be the worst thing you can do. If we want to go back to a world in which the souverenighty of smaller countries doesn't matter and where the big powers decide the borders and decisions of the smaller countries, spheres of influences etc, then sure let's do that. But as someone who doesn't live in a country that is a great power, why do you think you have the right to decide for my country? Why is your voice more important than mine?

@allydea Беларусь? Or maybe Hungary or Slovakia. In which cases I completely understand why you react the way you do. Whilst you should know better having been under boots of Moscow for so long. Then again, if not Belarus, you're part of NATO so it is easy to speak the way you do. You might not be from an imperialist power, but your way of thinking is )).

@allydea haha )) sure. Says the guy from a country that is a great power. The funny thing is, that history has a fun way to suddenly turn things around. I am curious how you'll think about this, when others decide over you. It is a shame that people like you haven't learned from the past and still think imperialism, in any form, is okay ))
