@vitalys9986 ofcourse the Baltics collaborated. They considered themselves liberated from the USSR. Which ironically shows how bad the USSR actually was, as the Balts preferred the nazis over the USSR. You forget to mention that the Baltic States were under Soviet occupation between 1939-1941 and 1945-1991

@vitalys9986 also just stop playing the victim. There is a reason nobody has problems with the Germans anymore. They changed and abandoned their imperialist ways. You however, are exactly the same. You are the cause of the animosity towards you. Ukraine too was minding its own bussiness before Russia decided to invade Crimea and incite a rebellion. And now you are crying that Ukraine has become anti Russian, what did you exactly expect? Even the Russian speakers have become anti Russian.
7
@vitalys9986 Russian speakers isn't the same as being Russian my obvious Moskal friend. Most Russian speakers in Ukraine are Russian speaking Ukrainians, not Russians.
5
@vitalys9986 the Balts were victims who decided to take revenge after everything the USSR had done. Before Stalin's actions towards them, they were minding their own bussiness.

@beibotanov "coup" ah yes "coup". Even if it was a coup, which it wasn't, it would still have been an internal Ukrainian matter and none of Russia's bussiness. "Civil war" my ass, there were Russian agents and army units involved from the first moment.
5
@beibotanov are here we see the low level of education in Russia. Language isn't ethnicity. I am a Russian speaker, but I am ethnically Ukrainian, as are most Russian speakers in Ukraine. You don't have to believe my word for it, there is census data. So why won't you stop proving everyone right for disliking you, by stopping to try to tell others what they are or aren't?
4
@piccadelly9360 no he is right. Russia has the official policy that it is allowed to intervene everywhere "to protect" Russian citizens. Aka the Russian passport is weaponized.
3
@beibotanov ethnicity has nothing to do with language. Thanks for showing your ignorance though.

They ask everyone these questions. We have a terrorist problem in Europe. Not to mention the geopolitical situation right now. I am happy they are doing their job. They are not only protecting the Dutch borders but the borders of all of Shengen countries. Even as a Dutch citizen I have had the question what I have been doing when returning even. Have a great stay in the "hoofdstad" Amsterdam.

I think why most think that that most Russians is pro War is if you see the reactions on social media (like Vkontake) under videos or Ukrainians being bombed etc. That said it is good to see people like you being so anti-war, it gives hope for a future in which Russia doesn't want to dominate its neighbours )). Слава Україні! And also glory to Georgia, hopefully it will find its European path that is so desires.

@sntxrrr That is a very old distinction that died with the USSR. Besides the fact that Poland and Croatia were not part of the USSR (Poland was a satellite of it, not an actual part of it and Croatia was part of Yugoslavia, which was neutral and not affiliated with the USSR at all). Poland and Croatia are both in Central Europe, as are thr Czech Republic, Hungary, Germany (including East Germany), Romania, Slovakia, Austria and Switzerland. Some would include the Baltics in Central Europe and others in Northern Europe. Ukraine, Belarus and Russia are Eastern Europe. Moldova is sometimes considered Eastern Europe and sometimes Central Europe (due to its ties with Romania).

@vitalys9986 х = kh btw )) not h )) anyway what was your point about Russian speakers then when he speaks about ethnic Russians 🤣. Also nice assumption you made there )).
1
@vitalys9986 "Russia's backyard" and here we see the imperialism why everybody hates you. Thanks for proving the point. We are all souvereign states, we decide our own paths and our own friends. As long as you think you have some right to decide for us (you don't have this right) everybody will keep hating you. Stop thinking you're special. You're not.
1
@vitalys9986 the real problem is in your describing independent and sovereign states as "backyard" of your country. This is why everybody joins NATO and wants to get as far away as possible from you. You don't even realize that what you said is literally imperialism right? Maybe one day you will realize that you yourself are the cause of us all wanting to join NATO with rethoric like yours.

@beibotanov where did I say that? I never said anything about the Russian minority in Ukraine. I only said that most (English is hard for a Moskal like you, I know) Russian speakers in Ukraine are Ukrainians and not Russians. There is an ethnic Russian minority yeah. Read : minority.

@beibotanov ))

Montenegro is Southern Europe or Central Europe yeah. Not Western Europe. Western Europe are the Benelux, France, UK and Ireland. Some would include Germany, but most would say it is central Europe. About the Euro, Montenegro is not a part of the EU and has been using the Euro without an official agreement with the EU to actually do so lol.
1
@edwardkuenzi5751 Poland is not Eastern Europe, they would not appreciate you saying that. They are in central Europe. Also were would you say Romania is part of then? It is not a slavic nation, it speaks a Romance language, were would you put the romance group at all? or Hungary, which also isn't Slavic but neither is it Germanic? Finland and the Baltics? also not Germanic nor Slavic. Or Ireland? Which is celtic etc etc.
1
@edwardkuenzi5751 Greece isn't Eastern Europe. It's southern Europe. The old division with calling the former communist states "Eastern Europe" died with the USSR. For example Prague, the capital of the Czech Republic, which in your definition would be Eastern Europe, lies geographically to the West of Vienna, the capital of Austria, which in your definition would be part of Western Europe
1
@leoprg5330 no it is not. It is Southern Europe. Europe is not just divided into East and West anymore. This division died with the USSR.

@JackMarcuson idiot
1
@makoado6010 yeah it is also in the Balkan. One doesn't include the other mate.
1
@rockymarciano8076 Russia itself doesn't consider itself "European" anymore though. It considers itself "Eurasian".
1
I hope not. Not in regards to you specifically, but alot of your countrymen and women are a**holes and with all the Ukrainians in the EU, it already has caused some f*cked up situations. So I hope my county (NL) declines.
