@warfumble12 the value of an untraded currency like the Ruble says absolutely nothing.... especially since it is artificially propped up. And he is mist certainly right about the mentality.

@albin2232 yeah you're right about that.

@warfumble12 I have a friend in the Russian central bank, I won't name her for obviously reasons, and she told me that prices have indeed risen and that even IKEA now left. She literally told me "all those people that think that we don't need the Western goods are idiots, now we pay more for stuff that is of Russian (aka worse) quality than the Western stuff". Not to mention another Russian friend that literally keeps asking me to help her as she can't pay her rent and even offered me to do sexual stuff. Cuz that is the glory of Russia for you. I declined, because she is in Russia (Voronezh) and I prefer to not indirectly fund the Russian war machine. But yeah that is how good all ordinary citizens do.

@warfumble12 again Russian glory, that is what happend to her )) and the way you speak about your own country woman also shows how rotten Russian society is and the mentality. For the rest her finances are not my concern. I know she has health problems which take obvious precedence.

@warfumble12 lol no I actually just pointed to 2 lol. I have friends from SPB, Moscow, Vladivostok, Novosibirsk, Perm, Voronezh etc. But what is the point naming them. As you here are behaving like what you know is the whole and only truth. I wouldn't be surprised if you're from Moscow or SPB or atleast European European Russia and have no clue what is going on in the provinces. Aka the mentality of the colonial master)). No prices are not everywhere in Russia the same as before. But again Russian arrogance. So I am not surprised. Again even my friend says this mentality disgusts her. You always think you know better and don't listen to others. Also you always play the enternal victim. Which we see with this war too.

@warfumble12 first off I didn't freak out. Secondly I tell you what other people that live in your country tell me. People actually living in the provinces. You have the imperial mindset. You don't give a crap about those living in the other regions. The victim thing was about how Russia whilst being the aggressor still blames others and says it protects itself. As it always blames the west. Again I don't even know why I try to explain something to someone who is sadly the result of Russia's notoriously bad education. I am glad to have met Russians who have been abroad as well and haven't been their entire life within facist Russia. Some of them having studied abroad have a more healthy view on the world.

The most ironic thing is that nobody is really afraid of Russia. We just don't really feel like escalating to ww3. Also the obsession with being a super power is something I will never understand. Who cares about being a superpower when your live is shit. I rather live in a minor or regional power but have a good live not being dragged into pointless wars.

@TheManinBlack9054 lol well some people actually have friends across the world )) as I've actually travelled Russia and Ukraine. I speak the language too. So yeah might be hard to fathom for people like you, but some of us have friends across the world. But I will tell Аня how you reacted. I am sure she'll have a laugh. She has humor. Even asking me if I had a way for her boss "fuck the war" without getting fired. Actually discussion how funny it is they hired her considering her political views.
