@dandondera2618 correct it's revisionist and revanchist. Not different to Nazi Germany's revionism and revanchism after ww1.

I am concerned about Hungary allegedly wanting to annex Transcarpathia. this seems almost identical to Hungary annexing this region from Czechoslovakia just before ww2.

@sinoroman yeah like the last two times right lol? 😂. When Hungary picks your side, you know you'll lose.

hungary always picks the wrong site. central powers, axis powers now Russia. it's their talent.

@marthaolerin6376 yeah I agree. But people, and therefore countries, have a tendency to make stupid decisions when emotions and history are involved. It wouldn't be the first time they did it (and paid for the action).

@vsevolodsolovyev5608 like ww1? Crimean War? Russo-Japanese War? Afghanistan? Yeah...

@vsevolodsolovyev5608 ad hominem. When you actually have a constructive argument feel free to comment. I actually showed a counter comment on the "Russia will always win" as it's simply false as it's proven in history. The fact all you can do is react like this, says more about you than me. Then again I don't blame you, Russian education is not known to be of a high level.

and should remember that they were lucky that the 1920 borders were restored in 1945 instead of even further territorial losses after siding with Germany in ww2.

@huszar1075 not entirely true. Within Austria-Hungary, Hungary could have resisted alot more than it did. As it was an equal partner within the dual monarchy. However yeah it has less influence than in ww2. But it's the reason why the Kingdom of Hungary was also punished, just like Austria.

@GeneralForgeron I don't hate Hungary. I have nothing against the Hungarian people. Was Hungary treated harshly in Trianon? Yeah undoubtedly, as they were punished harder even than Germany. However ww2, Hungary did chose to join the axis powers. It might have had it's reasons but still. It was good to then revert Hungary back to 1920. I am glad that Hungary is free from communism and part of the European family. However Hungary siding with authoritarian regimes in such instances is something it's neighbours still remember. Hungary should not be destroyed, as it is a unique part of the European family, but I think it's perfect in the current borders that it has. In regards to the large groups of Hungarians outside of Hungary, I'd even say that Hungary should have some rights to protects these minorities (none militarily). But I get what you mean, sentences can be used out of context to show a certain narrative. But no I have nothing against Hungary or it's people. I do have something against Orban though. Then again I have the same with Putin and Erdogan. Nothing against their countries or peoples, but something against autocratic leaders.

I hope so, Turkey seems to be against it tho.

@GeneralForgeron also why did your comment get deleted? YT is weird sometimes. Anyhow to me it seemed like you made a valid point.

@timokohler6631 no the people aren't. I don't call the people nazis. It's not what I mean. It's current leader is revanchist and revisionist.
