@Dieter Dödel it is because we actually respect Germany. Germany has a great standing in Europe, and the world. So we expect more from you guys. As a Dutchman, and you know how complicated the Dutch-German relations have been at times due to 1940-1945, I would love to see Germany redeem itself by acting strong and decisively. Time for Germany to show it is a real leader. This is the chance to do the right thing and finally put ww2 behind you guys.

@Pac23 history has a way to only reveal afterwards what is the right side of history. But I doubt it will be a authoritarian state that invades a smaller democratic state if we look at historical precedence. But considering your way of commenting, your source is "trust me bro".

@Dragil XCOM hahaha here we see the typical orc whom is obsessed with history. As Russia hasn't achieved anything since 1991, it is all they can look at. I think it is ironic that this time Germany is fighting facism and Imperialism, whilst the successor of the USSR is still stuck in its imperialist ways and even made a facist turn. History going full circle. Russia now having the position of most hated country in the world.

@pomsii history doesn't repreat itself. It rhymes. Only someone with no historical education, will say that it repeats. As I could use the exact same terminology, to say that facists states are destined to lose. This is using history to fit your viewpoint. Amateurs tend to do this, historians don't. One could point to the simple fact that Germany the Eastern front of ww1 against the Russians or the fact the British and French were on the winning side of the Crimean War to use other instances were the Russians lost and a Western Power won. Again only amateurs think history repeats itself or that you can predict the future by studying history. Spoiler: you can't
