@jonathanjacob5453 you mean the people in the east of Ukraine who got involved in a civil war when a minority, supported by Russia, grabbed power and forced those that were pro Ukrainian to flee and be internally displaced people. Yeah I agree horrible for these Ukrainians to live in a war situation created by their larger neighbour that called himself their brother. Horrible for my friend that in 2014 the separatist tried to take over her city which caused a battle for the city, luckily won by the Ukrainians, and that now again her city is being targeted. She is pro Ukrainian and loves the country btw. Not to mention that the casualties of 8 years of war in Donbass on both sides combined are not even close to the civilian casualties on thr Ukrainian side only since February 24th. Leaving out military casualties on both sides. The Russians and their proxies have killed a considerable amount of Donbass civilians more since February 24th alone than Ukraine in the 8 years of wars (most casualties then also being in the first years). Not to mention that the Pro Russian forces have killed magnitudes of more civilians if you count all the Ukrainian civilians killed since February 24th. It is more like a girl getting raped by a bully and his smaller friend, trying to defend herself and cutting the smaller friend and then the bully killing her because she hit the smaller friend. Then saying that she was the aggressor and you just defended the smaller guy. Ukraine is the victim and no twisting of facts will change that. I know it is a Russian thing to always play the victim. They do it now, and they do it about ww2. Casually forgetting about the Molotov-Ribbentrop pact and the fact they invaded Finland and Poland and annexed Besserabia, Bucovina and the Baltic States. Not to mention the fact they tried to join the axis.

You are aware that using absolutes like "nobody" instantly makes your comment impossible? For sure there are people leaving. As there are always people leaving, even in a peaceful city in a peaceful country. Not to mention that people outside the city who are still in contact with those within the city, including a friend of mine, say other things.
