@stuartgartery2717 the Bulgarian government is supporting Ukraine. They know their future is in the West, not least because they are reliant on it. There is just a demographic op people, as there is in all countries, often people older than a certain age. The young people are working mostly in the rest of Europe, where they have a terrible reputation. I don't hate Bulgarians but it is a bit ironic when people working here, contribute to Bulgaria, because we are a net contributer to the EU, whilst Bulgaria is a net receiver, to hear the big mouth say they hate the West. Like mate, that's ungrateful. If you think Russia is better, go there or join it. But for the rest idk.

@arturschlegel-ky2wt yes but it is the lowest GDP per capita in the union, it should actually applaud Ukraine and Moldova joining as they could then take these title (for a small time as Ukraine has alot more potential than Bulgaria has) there is a reason Bulgaria wants to join. Also it would be unwise to leave the EU considering 2 of it's 4 members are EU members, one is a kandidate members and the last one has asperations to join the union. Potentionally eventually becoming surrounded by the EU. Beter to be part of the single market then outside of it at such situation. For rest the Bulgarian economy significantly grew since joining the European Union, party because alot of projects are financed by the EU (so that includes financed by people from other countries). Bulgaria benefits more from the EU than the EU from Bulgaria. That is fine, but don't be ungrateful when people in other countries pay taxes that support your country as well.

Ah yes because my country, the Netherlands, is trully warmongering. Meanwhile Russia is occupying the territory of 3 souvereign states but it totally isn't a warmonger (haven't fought 4 wars herself since 1991 and have intervened multiple times too)

If you say that Russia would invade Ukraine again if it would join NATO, you openly state Russia is imperialist and the aggressor. 3. If there is a nuclear exchange between the US and Russia, the Bulgarians die with or without Ukraine joining NATO. 4. Congratulations you're the 1.000.000th vatnik to use the nuclear threat. Bulgaria loses nothing from Ukraine joining NATO. It would mean one less country Russia can invade.
