@Herman Wooster this is the biggest bs ever. What in your eyes constitutes West Ukraine? All of Ukraine except Donbass? Were in 2023 not 2011. Ukraine is more united than ever.

@Herman Wooster ever been to Ukraine? As apparently you think you know better than someone who has lived there and has family and friends there. Also you twist events. The war in the east begum because Russia armed a minority of insurgents. They tried the same thing in Odesa and Kharkiv. Western Ukrainians? Kyiv isn't Western Ukraine, it is even a Russian speaking city.. you really seem to know nothing of that which you speak. Also the revolution of dignity started as a peaceful demonstration against Yanukovich. As Yanukovich was turning into an authoritarian like Putin. Imprisoning his opponent and renacting on his promises. As did you know he was voted into office because of his promise to persue closer ties with the EU? A promise be broke because Putin gave him money. Do you also know he was earlier in prison for election fraud? Yanukovich turned the demonstrations violent with his actions. Don't twist history. Even the historically pro Russian cities of Kharkiv and Odesa are now resoundingly pro Ukrainian. As I said you are stuck in 2004 and 2010. Litteraly what I said. Putin's actions have managed to make Kharkiv pro Ukrainian, no Ukrainian president could have ever done that. But yeah I bet you believe that speaking Russian is forbidden in Ukraine.

@Kevin Jenner nice whataboutism. What exactly does it have to do with the Russian invasion?

@Herman Wooster and from when is that video? As I have friends and family on both Western, Central, Southern and Eastern Ukraine, Including Donetsk oblast, and they all say the same thing. Let me guess you also believe in the fairytale that you will be persecuted for speaking Russian?

@Herman Wooster so again what is your definition of Eastern Ukraine? Maybe you should look at the map of the election results of the Verkhovna Rada. Servant of the people won everywhere except for the Donestk and Luhansk oblast as well as Budjak raion (part of Odesa oblast) as well as the presidential election in which non of the pro Russian candidates even made it to the second round and during said second round on Lviv and it's direct surroundings voted in favour of Poroshenko and not Zelensky. Literally for the first time in history one party, and one man, received so much support throughout the whole country with his party being the first ever to have an absolute majority and not having to form a coalition government. Again are you living in 2023 or 2013? Things changed dramatically since 2014, Putin did a great job of uniting a people that always squabbled amongst themselves.

@Herman Wooster you are aware that since 2015 only a tiny amount of Ukrainian territory was occupied by the so-called "people's republics" right? The majority of Donetsk and Luhansk oblast were in Ukrainian hands and the war was low intensity. The biggest impact on electoral results, was the fact that the only majority ethnically and most Pro Russian region, the autonomous Republic of Crimea, was detached from it. So the only one to blame for it being impossible for a Russian party or president to win the election now, is Russia itself.
