@lanejohnson7656 guerilla type combat is harder. Harder to hide javelin carrying infantry in the open, with no cover, compared to cities and such.

@lanejohnson7656 Tanks are traditionally stronger in open terrain than cities. They can encircle the Ukrainian army. It's harder to fight guerilla tactics in the open. Not for nothing that the Taliban fought in the mountains. The reason the Ukrainians were so effective is because they used guerilla tactics around cities and villages. So you can be sarcastic. I just try to explain why they want to send tanks lol. But I guess you know better than the guys that studied this for their entire life. Also the Ukrainian army has been using tanks the whole war..... however I do agree with that they shouldn't be fighting large scale battles. But then again they have been using tanks efficiently and effectively so far. There is no harm in giving it to them. I doubt they'll face the Russians in huge tank battles.

Anyway I hope you realize it's easier to attack tanks when they are in a tight convoy because they're driving through streets, villages etc than when they have the room to manoeuvre on wide open plains. Especially considering the fact, that the Ukrainians don't have the air power that they need. About Trump, not a fan. Not American but I support Biden and before him Obama. That somebody doesn't agree with you, doesn't mean he/she supports Trump.
