  1. no if this was the case, Russia would have been crushed already. NATO has, so far, only supported Ukraine in a limited way. it is alot what they send to Ukraine, but it's not even a fraction of the US's or NATO's military and economic capabilities. it seems only now NATO will ramp up production. only now the situation will arrive in which the Ukrainians just have to worry about the fight and the weapons production, delivery and training will be handled by NATO. and even with all this, it's still not even close what NATO could and would do if it was really NATO vs Russia. trust me the fights would not be in Ukraine then right now.

  2. yes that tends to happen when large world economies get involved in wars (eventhough the EU and US don't fight there, they are involved).
