  1. My bestfriend moved from Nova Kakhovka to Kropvynysky oblast about 2 months before the war. I was already thankful she did so when the war broke out and Nova Kakhovka got occupied but I honesly thank God that she wasn't there now.

  5. In other news, Zelensky has just landed in Amsterdam Schiphol, he will give a speech tomorrow in the Hague. It is on a symbolic day as it is our day of rememberance of the dead. A day dedicated to remember those that died for our freedom in ww2 and after.

  6. No. Left and right side of a river is determined by the direction the river flows. The Dnipro flows from north to south. So imagine if you would be on a boat that is following the flow of the Dnipro river (so north to south) the east bank (the one that on a map is on the right) would be on the left for you and the west bank (the one on the left on the map) would be on the right. Therefore, the west bank is the right bank, and the east bank is the left bank

  10. @Petro Pupkinsky  it depends on your definition of defeat. If you mean the total defeat of Russia, as in occupying Russia, that obviously won't happen. Just like this didn't happen to the US, ever. If you mean with defeat, the Russians withdrawing to 1991 borders, that is a possibility.

  16. @Petro Pupkinsky  it is such bs, the majority in the Donbass is ethnically Ukrainian. There isn't a majority of ethnic Russians anywhere in the Donbas, let alone 80%. There only is a plurality of Russians in the largest cities. The only majority ethnically Russian region of Ukraine is the Autonomous Republic of Crimea. Which has its own history with ethnic cleansing under the Russians.

  33. The Americans told the Russians that Biden would visit Kyiv. In a way of saying "he is there, don't do something stupid". As yeah you don't want Russia to be launching missiles at Kyiv and accidentally hitting Biden, so this way there could be no misunderstanding. Had they launched missles today, that would have been done so intentionally because Biden was there. Russia choose not to provoke the US, smart choice lol.

Just to become completely silent when ask them, how a PMC could take Rostov and could drive for a hundreds of km without anyone stopping them.   49. The casualties on the report were 17,5 k and 71,5 k. My first thought was "lol whomever doctored this, did a horrible job, literally couldn't be bothered". I mean after a year of fighting, the casualties being 17k and 71k literally the same just the numbers switching places, must be the biggest coincidence in history.
