"Russia losing is not a win for Ukraine" Well, since it means Ukraine remove Russian Occupation from Ukrainian soil - it clearly IS a win for Ukraine!

I’m pretty sure that it’s primarily based on opportunity, but in the sense where they have been preparing to act on opportunities they hoped the offensive in the south would create! What we see happening is the effect of using NATO doctrines and being flexible enough to grab the opportunities as soon as they’re there.. Giver det mening?

They are simply just sticking to the kind of doctrines most NATO countries, especially the North Europeans, follow today...

@TJackson736 Sure, you might be right - but as Ukraine couldn't know for sure exactly where from Russia would pull troops out and send south, I still think it was more about expecting opportunities to happen somewhere, and then being flexible enough to act on them quickly.

@seancidy6008 So your idea of "Ukraine winning" is by Ukraine giving up and getting occupied by Russia? That's how it sounds like! And it's extremely stupid! Ukraine won't have to worry - Western Europe and the US will continue to supply it and let's be real, Russia is clearly running low on ressources since it's now forced to buy weapons and ammunition from North Korea. The fact is, Russia has started a war it can't win - not easy eating an apple if your teeths starts falling out when you take a bite - and that's what happening to Russia!
