I did in 23, took 8 months

People will still deny the reliability of hybrids. Especially the Ecvt. Usually guys named Cletus who live in a double wide and are married to their cousin.

Nonsense, your insurance company is ripping you off. My 23 Rav 4 Ltd Hybrid was 42 bucks more a year to insure vs a 23 Rav 4 Ltd non hybrid. Difference is only price of the car
4
So wrong. My 23 Rav 4 hybrid was 1800 Cdn more than the non hybrid version both at MSRP. A brand new battery would run about 4 grand from the dealer.....but the original is guaranteed for 10 years. You can exchange a Prius battery in the US for as little as 800 bucks. You need to stop repeating lies that people tell you.

nonsense

More nonsense from the clueless crew
3
nonsense....I've never charged my 12 VT and I've let my car sit for days.... Just drive it more than 10 miles a few times a week , it doesn't need to be in the highway. If the 12 volt needs charging the car will run the engine as required
3
yup, I drive my Rav 4 hybrid 75 and 80 mph all day on the I15 for 1600 miles Calgary to Phoenix. Even at that speed with a full car I get 40mpg
3
😂 A 23 Rav 4 Hybrid weighs 125lb more than the non hybrid.. No traditional transmission, no starter, no alternator. Cost of that battery is 3800 new...with 10 year full warranty all while getting 50% more mpgs. You is funny.
3
No harm done. Many high altitude states have 85 gas....avoid that....the same places have 88. Which is perfectly fine. Best gas to get is 87 pure gas with no ethanol...if you can find it.
2
😂 no, EVs are still crap. Toyota will win that race too
2
Same systems, Lexus usually put larger KW motors for more HP.
2
nonsense. More reliable and cheaper to maintain Someone commented without watching the video

Says Cletus in his 1998 Dodge Pickup parked next to his single wide .
2
Engine comes on as required. Just like an ICE, the engine has to be warm to provide heat. Just drive the car it will do what it needs to do.
2
10 miles is fine.
2
@bradhaines3142 No, since it's 10% more gas even 10% more in price is worth it. It's like making your tank 10% larger. I can only buy it when I drive south through Montana and Idaho. Buy it when ever I can. Most gas contains 10% ethanol where I drive
1
@bradhaines3142 where the he 🏒 🏒 do you live? I bought some in Idaho last month it was 8% more than regular unleaded. 3.55 to 3.84. You are out to lunch.
1
@guyfromage 88 octane not E85 or E 88
1
@bradhaines3142 Every place I drive it's 10% tops. I drive from Calgary to Phoenix
1
I got a 23 Rav 4 HybridLtd in 8 months. in Canuckistan..at MSRP...exactly what I ordered.. .have had it for 1 year
1
Ok Cletus....go fill your car..chug a lug😂 Corrola Cross Hybrid doesn't come in LE and has much more options..but not 1000 lbs worth of options. I drove the anemic 169 hp cross. Would never buy that snail
1
still limited, with extreme high demand.
1
There's no kinks, that engine and system has been in use for years. Only difference between a 23 Rav 4 Hybrid engine and a 25 Camry is the Camry has a slightly larger electric motor....for about 13 more hp
1
Mirai has been discontinued
1
Any dealer
1
Next Rav 4 will be all hybrid. If it's not ..they will offer very few trim levels in non hybrid
1
Ecvt, not CVT
1
It will be 8 years before anyone has SS batteries in their full lineup. Toyota will put them in higher priced Lexus for the first few years
1
12 volt battery only lasts 5 years max. I always replace my 12 VT after 5 years
1
Wrong, no starter in a hybrid. This isn't 1998. Next excuse.

Lies, change your insurance. They are gouging you. My insurance was 42 dollars more for the hybrid Ltd over the non hybrid Ltd. You realize if any car has sustained enough damage to the back seat area where the battery is ..its a write off...hybrid or not. Or any other part of the car. It's not an EV with 20 sq ft of battery underneath. My 23 Rav 4 Ltd Hybrid is under 1100 a year... FULL INSURANCE. includes replacement value and loss of use....its actually over insured.
