@coaxill4059 women soldiers in The Soviet Union were joining armed forcess cause they usually wanted to either avenge their family or husband or kids. Also because Soviet Union was in danger. Despite later american feminists narrative they were not joining "to prove something". They were joining to fight for Motherland and Families. After The war they didn't actually wanted to stay in The Army (besides some) and tried to live normaly.
