Now imagine that they are supposed to "build defensive line" with manpower problems they currently have. I mean Russians build theirs in less than 3 months but they had specialists, manpower, time and were kept secure by total superiority in air. Assuming ukraine is even capable to gather the workers. Why west assumes Russians will not attack these forces and will sit tight and allow this line to be build. It is madness and not even of good kind.

@Kevik70 whatever they might build it won't be enough. Not to mention that Russians will most likely won't allow ukrops to build New lines and rebuild these already damaged. Unless it is far from The initial lines of contact and even then it won't be build to "effective level".
