Iran is Shia. If you know something about Islam then I can tell you that Shias and Sunnis absolutelly despize one another. The fact that Iran and Saudis got to The peace talks was mostly caused by efforts of Both Russia and China. The fact that Hezbollah done basicaly nothing in that war yet is also give away that it is not neceserly for Iran benefit. I also don't believe israel didn't know about it and was caught off guard. They provoke Hamas with something (and something Very good if they risk so much) and now they have best and convenient reason to Finish off Palestine.
