If you come into the UK with no financial clout, it's going to take decades for those people to start to contribute to the UK's coffers. You have no money. So you need food. You also need somewhere to sleep. Houses cost upwards of £150,000. But as you can't afford that, we'll give you that house for free and we'll give you benefit for food and you can make then a claim for housing benefit that runs into hundreds of pounds a month that'll cover the rent you can't afford. And we'll also give you benefits to heat your home too and for water and probably a 'phone too. That's all running into the hundreds of pounds a month too. And ultimately, who's paying for all this stuff you're going to get for free? The British taxpayer.
