@TEXASRUSKI If you take the initiative that killed hundreds of people, you are responsible for it. If you lose then it can't look like clapped on the shoulder "you'll succeed next time" . Initiative is a risk that you consciously take. You have an order from the high command, you carry it out, in the absence of an order, you follow the combat charter.

@richay1 where is effective? take away Western supplies from them, advisers (including senior officers), NATO satellites and AWACS, would they have lasted much? Where did they surround the Russians? Russians surrounded them in Mariupol, Lisichansk, Severodonetsk and other smaller towns. I think the only success of Ukraine is the Kharkiv region and that only because the Russians were too stretched and did not have enough people. I don’t consider Kherson a success since the Russians left on their own to improve defense positions
