  1.  @TD-yj8ch  First of all, Mao died in 1976 and China invaded Vietnam in 1979 so it was not Mao's invasion. Second, China only occupied a small area of Vietnam near the border for a month before retreating back to China. Compare that with an 11 year war with the US in which the US military officially occupied the southern half of Vietnam while bombing and unoficially occupying the north as well. The Amrican military finally left in 1973. Do you really think the people of Vietnam have completely forgotten about a war with America that lasted 11 years while retaining vivid memories and resentment over the 1 month war with China that happenned only 6 years later? Finally, the people of Africa, Pakistan and other BRI partners don't like China as much as the poltitians who have been paid off by the CCP. Just look at recent anti-China terroist attacks in Pakistan and the Solomon Islands.

However, they talk a lot about human traffickers from China crossing the border to kindnap young women and force them to become wives for Chinese men. The Hmong and other ethnic minorities in the north are particularly vulnerable to Chinese human traffickers.

The government refuses to pass ANY gun laws that would reduce gun violence because of the backlash they would get from the gun lobby. Nobody goes into politics in the US anymore to serve the American people. Everyone in the US government is there to serve themselves and they will do so at the expense of the American people as well as people in other countries. In regard to pakistan and other BRI countries, it's only a matter of time before the majority opinion on China reflects that of Vietnam.
