However, there are still unexploded bombs in the ground that present a real danger to the people in Quan Tri province and the horrible health effects of Agent orange still linger throughout southern Vietnam. If you want to be useful then you should be talking about those issues instead of making silly wisecracks.

  8.  @rashius  Mao was worse because he did not have the financial support of American business to prevent his failed policies from causing the deaths of tens of millions of Chinese people. Subsequent leaders, such as Jiang Zemin, were able to get Americans to invest their money in China resulting in economic growth and prosperity for both the Chinese people and American businesses. However, Xi Jinping has decided to take China back to the way it was under Mao and is willing to sacrifice the relationship with American business to do so. Unless Jiang Zemin and his faction can stop him, Xi will continue to drive American money out of China which will cause great suffering for the people of China. Let's all hope that doesn't happen.

  9. Sanctions that force US businesses to leave China would be the best thing that could possibly happen to the US economy. Many jobs would return to the US and other operations would be moved to countries that don't oppress their people, commit genocide, steal intellectual property, illegally seize territory, engage in human trafficking or kidnap people to harvest their organs.
