  1.  @DaveE99  I'm not condoning the militarization of the police. In fact, I whole-heartedly condemn it. My point is that it's the consequence of ignoring the real concerns of the American people to the point where they feel a "strong" police force is necessary to protect them. While I don't agree with this thinking, I certainly understand why people feel that way.

  3. I support everything you're doing, Leeja but, as a "privileged" White man I have been forced out of my own country by the very people who I believe are SAVING America. The truth is that I'm treated with more respect as an immigrant living in Vietnam than I was as a White man living in America. It breaks my heart to hear people in your position perpetuate the myth that ALL White men are the "enemy". I used to actively participate in the fight against the creepy right but now I've refocused my efforts on other causes such as volunteering 6 hours per week at a special school in Hanoi for children who suffer mental and physical disabilities due to Agen Orange poisoning (yah, that shit is still in the soil here). I wish you well in your fight and I would suggest that you might be more successful if you toned down your rhetoric against White men. 😊
