  1. I'm an American who has lived in Vietnam for over 4 years. I would argue that the Vietnamese government is much more similar to Singapore than China.

  2. Vietnam is sitting in the proverbial canary's seat. All the major powers want Vietnam on their side but Vietanm has no interest in allaying with any of them.

  9.  @MrDienkhanh  I lived in America all my life 50+ years. Then I noticed the same thing you did. Everyone was fighting about everything. When I was rejected by my own family members, I knew it was time to leave. America may be deteriorating but China is collapsing even faster. As the world's superpowers decline, smaller, resource rich countries like Vietnam are emerging to help fill the void. I find Vietnam to be a very exciting place right now. It reminds me of what America used to be like.
