  1. It's truly a miracle that she's alive and was able to survive this with her dignity, kindness, spirit and capacity to love as she does intact. I recall when this war was occurring and how frantic I was about it needing to be stopped and that especially the children needed to be rescued. I prayed fervently about this and had prayer partners praying also. Doing the same with the situation in Gaza, as many other prayer warriors have done during other wars and crises where the innocent are suffering and dying for the greed, lusts, envy and violence of some have put the many in grave danger, suffering great harm. May God be with her in her calling and may God bring all of us, His children through these great trials, to better times and better days or home with Him forever to be safe.

  2. It's so emotionally healthy for this young lady to forgive her Mom and other relatives. She worked through the trauma to get to the place of understanding that they were all subject to this and shared the same trauma. Without forgiveness I don't think she and her family could have moved forward together to end this. Not only for her own children, but also to protect her younger cousins. Living in bitterness is not healthy. You can't change the past no matter how much you'd like to. Moving forward to make positive changes is the best any of us can do.
