You are sadely mistaken. Pope Francis met with both families of hostages and victims of the Oct 7th attack and with families of those who have lost loved ones in Gaza. He has also met with the Israeli representative to the Vatican and with representatives for Palestinians. He condemned Hamas's attack and also condemned the excessive response by the IDF. Apparently you have been blinded and mislead that Zionism is some religious thing and not the secular regime established for secular reasons in the first place. Ultra Orthodox Jews are also beaten and brutalized in Israel by IDF and Israeli police forces regularly and for doing nothing but existing. You have obviously not been paying attention to come up with the statement you made. Are uninformed about the Israeli response to the attack by their own Apache helicopters firing Hellfire missiles on festival goers, within the settlements and on their own military facility, killing their own people. You've no idea what the Hannibal directive is, nor are you aware that the IDF named the A.I. program that chooses targets, not by Hamas, but by mass casualties only "The Gospel". If you feel justified in your criticism of Pope Francis in this conflict, perhaps you yourself need to re-consider your own understanding of Christianity, what Jesus taught and what God our Father will be judging us by on the Day of Judgement, Matthew 25:31-44.

@bernadettefry8663 UM, the meetings and statement by Pope Francis was a few weeks ago and he made no distinction on the deaths of both Israeli civilians and Palestinian civilians. No Christians were mentioned. Um, Israel started this conflict 75 years ago. You need to look at the history. I not only have a keen sense of right and wrong, am a Spirit Filled Christian but have also been blessed to have had excellent, called, teachers and a deep knowledge of the scriptures. Over 7,000 innocent children, more under rubble not counted and the numbers are pushing 8,000 at this point. That doesn't even cover the seriously injured and the babies who have had to have amputations. If you don't see that as wrong, child sacrifice, to win a war on a trapped population who are now starving, thirsty, terrified, injured and suffering, then you have a problem with decerning right from wrong.

@bernadettefry8663 Why did my comment appear to trigger you so much? I thought you were done harrassing me. I just decided to ignore you and here you are again. Accusing me of being something I'm not and lumping me in with others when you know not a thing about me at all. Are you angry with God? Did someone who claimed to be a Christian and was not, harm you in some way? I'm not asking for a response here, I'm asking only to perhaps help you figure out why you appear to hate Christians so much, Spirit Filled Christians specifically. I know there are wolves amongst the sheep. Wolves in sheeps clothing. Most often it's predatory men who prey on innocent young women who are not familiar with the ways of the world. Who are also often clean, not out screwing around. I heard the talk from some of my male co-workers who have no faith at all and would go looking in churches for young ladies to exploit. Or are you talking about MAGA reprobates who practically worshipped the 2 Timothy 3 poster child that that scripture tells us to avoid! Not make President. Don't like em, no I don't. Do you think that I impose my own convictions upon others? I do not. "Let each man seek his own salivation with fear and trembling". I'm also not Catholic, I like Pope Francis, but Pope John Paul I was not a fan of at all. Do you not understand what the Baptism of the Holy Spirit is? That's all I have to say to you Bernadette.
