@harknesswolf3526 OMG! How horrifying! I'm glad you survived this and am sorry you endured it in the first place. I hope you know that your Dad being such a flawed, awful and cruel individual has absolutely nothing to do with you. We all have free will to choose the path we will walk on. He chose the path that leads to darkness and his own destruction. You've chosen the path that leads to life everlasting, with kindness, compassion and caring. May God your real Father be always with you and show you always how much He does love you, for He does. He will judge those that harmed you one day and the price they will pay will be grave. I pray that the Lord will help heal the scars and replace them with beauty and wisdom, a survivor, a warrior you definity are. ♾💜🦋

@ridge7524 Yep, my Dad told me that a firearm is the great equalizer. I was taught by mine in firearm safety and handling. The USAF taught me the rest and my Dad made sure I had a safe and effective firearm when I became a single parent after a divorce. Helped me pick one out and went to a firing range with me, so he was sure that I knew how to handle it. He was so satisfied with my proficiency that he proudly displayed my practice target in his home.

Being "nice" will get you killed out there ladies. Don't be nice. No strange man needs to ever get near you, even close enough to grab your outstretched arm if you reach it out to him to give him a light, a smoke or anthing else, say NO, and don't give them a chance to grab your arm or wrist ever. If he acts like he can't hear you if he askes you a question from a distance and tries to close the distance between you, tell him NO, that's close enough, Back off! Make a scene in parking lots, in stores, on the street, wherever you might be when your boundaries which out in the open should be some distance are being pushed. Use your shopping carts to keep something between you and them in a parking lot if they come up on you, or in the store, just walk around it to keep it between you and a man who is getting too close. Keep your valuables away from them as well. Your wallet or purse have ID and other information that you don't want a stranger to have, including your house and car keys. Keep your head on a swivel. Don't be nice to strangers ladies, it can get you killed. "Be sharp as serpents, yet innocent as doves"
