It’s also a poorly positioned barrier that probably should have had techpro or something

AdamLZ is a big reason why Barra are gaining traction in the US
65
Because less grip = safer Good one FIA
65
Lol “map of Tasmania” Kev Wilson would love that one.
63
Agent- “She isn’t doing any TV spots” Martin- “why even come to the grid then” (or something similar)

Mine’s when he crashed out and consoled the crying tifosi kid with the VIP treatment. Supposedly the kids family was kinda rich too but being nice is being nice.

@IWrocker big controversy, cover it if you dare. But basically the teams all agreed that they wanted to take the flag under racing conditions, race director only cleared the lapped cars between 1st and second at the end of the safety car and gave one lap to end it. People campaigned and had the race director removed from the role, completely not realising that he had to make the decision on the spot, not yours later with replay after replay. If I were race director I’d have red flagged the race, with a restart guarantee. That way the battle to the end would have been 4-5 laps with even 3rd and 4th in with a chance. (The week before hand the director red flagged a race and people wanted him sacked then too, so I understand why he did it the way he did)

VB = v*ginal backwash
29
I agree this was perfect. Tbh an Australian would have thrown their phone in their top pocket and sent it
27
I’d say anything under 9 minutes is good, under 8 minutes is hard, you’d be going for hundred thousand dollar Supercars minimum (and have it tuned to the track) to drop that 20 seconds.

This engine-exhaust combo gives off the same sound profile as the v12 era F1 cars, I.e a fair mix of induction and exhaust notes and I LIKEY
16
Well we would display more flags if it didn’t get us labelled racist. Heck putting the Australian flag up on Australia Day results in protest
14
@bwoolno and the old days had inline 4 turbos, and the old days had cosworth... they ALL sounded better than today’s car
14
Magpies (the bird) have more teeth than the team too
13
0:30 looks like the fire suppression system failed
12
Casually let’s go of the wheel at like 350km/h
12
Love my Australian culture, what better way to commemorate fallen soldiers than wearing a flower on your chest that looks like a bullet wound. It’s no design mistake either
11
That one time at Monaco I think it was Murray “(drivers name) says that the new normally aspirated engines are harder to drive than the last years turbo cars” James “I say BullS**t”
11
@micheledix2616 stop taking responsibility for something you didn’t do, it’s ok to feel bad but you didn’t do it
10
This also marks the second set as “used”, as they need to give a set of used and un-used wheels back each session so why not wheels you’ll never need in the race?
10
Drakes are the best supermarket hands down, quality is top notch and it’s owned by a family from SA
9
Arguably if it weren’t for brabham asking repco to build him a V8? The lotus team wouldn’t have found their own as early and cosworth May have been nothing.
9
He has more Tim tams right now than I’ve ever eaten.
9
Or you could buy a clapped out GQ patrol for a few grand and swap a decent motor in
9
The classic AU falcon. Actually seen as an ugly car here in Oz but has a huuuuuge cult following. The AU tax is real
9
By your definition, AC/DC are Scottish.
8
Dale wouldn’t have listened.. dale refused to wear HANS
8
@bwoolno quieter but better sounding.
8
By this logic, AC/DC are Scottish
7
If I was still delivering catalogues I’d put all the leftovers into a parcel and send it Ian’s way. That way I get payed more too
7
Any recipes using shapes will probably be found in Australian prison cookbooks, or take American prison recipes with chips and sub it with the shapes
7
I feel like ceremonies Australia wide include something like this. At the least vegemite on toast
7
I saw the Bundaberg thing coming. You’re in a fine league alongside Adam savage
7
Today’s safety cars sound better
7
I have, when it’s the last one
6
4:36 that’s my local beach, in fact... according to my father I was conceived here too
6
@tkimage7016 golden north, fruchocs, pie floater, AB pack.. what else. Wine from Barossa or mclaren vale?
6
Comparable to a moose impact actually. Front of the car normally looks like it’s been tapped, roof and pillars all folded
6
Once you get a racing sim wheel I’d really like to race you around adelaide for sure.
6
How did the mighty AU get missed?
6
I came across this video years ago. Changed my priorities almost instantly
6
@sriley064 go eat an ounce of salt will ya?
6
I got lost out that way overnight one time. 😂 probably find a local news report or two about it online 😂
6
Didn’t he lose his commentary contract until his fans threatened a boycott?
5
8:10 That’s a Praga. Jimmy broadbent (a summer racing YouTuber) is now a driver for them in britcar
5
I remember something similar for my cousins. Except they were actually branded bread sticks. I’d recommend dipping vegemite soldiers in a soft boiled egg yolk. Not for the kids either
5
@Shelmer75 last F1 race had cars leaving the ground
5
It wasn’t designed to look good either. I hope FIA seriously consider using one as pace/safety car
4
They were restricted from making it a downforce element. But nothing was written stopping them from shaping the air towards other aero elements. To me it looks like the teams opted for having it shape air into the i take
4
Barichello did that consecutive race entry record even after dying and being revived in 94 a day or so before senna died
