  1. Scary fast, the record would be under a minute of video game time trial rules were in play (easy restart, unlimited cars, tyres and damage reset to new every lap) I can put a time like this in on pcars2 without a proper setup, but the rest are doing like 1:59s

Shows the results of the pro racing world’s paywall/gatekeeping though, I’d speculate that my ability is on par with some of the formula 3 drivers but because I can’t afford to pay my way into a go kart seat let alone a real formula car so proving myself never happened and my daddy didn’t buy an F1 team so I can race either. TLDR, if your kid is good in rental karts, do everything you can to get them a drive in a real league. Don’t wait till they’re in late teens, it’s too late by then to go anywhere
