  1.  @augure2589  Yeah because they played to those rules, back then there were strategic DNF’s. Even strategic no-shows. You change the rules and the strategic DNF’s stop. It’s like engine quotas now.. if F1 teams had to use one engine a year, there’d be a heck of a lot less DNF’s. Oh and I’m pretty sure an F1 YouTuber did the calculations for a bunch of old seasons, only to find out that championship results rarely changed, and that when they did? They only further cemented the original result
