  1. Stallman (along with the FSF) has a way of making himself come across as dislikeable and borderline extremist (the list of linux distros the FSF recommends springs to mind), but in the end he's usually right. I do wish they'd get over the whole Linux naming thing though.

  2.  @balala7567  Lol, I don't even argue based on the contents of the system, I argue based on the principle. Most people know and refer to the system as Linux, Linux is objectively a better-sounding name than any the FSF have suggested, and the idea of naming stuff based on the components is just not how most things work.

  3. Lol, with luck they'll just form a consortium centering around a new open-source fork of it and keep that going forward as the mainstream version. Once enough people are on board, free software finds a way. There's a reason Linux is still around when you'd be hard-pressed to find a direct descendant of the original Unix systems.
