  1. That's exactly it. I think that the more transmissible and dangerous a disease is, the less rights you should have. We literally imprison people who harm others (e.g. murderers, thieves, rapists), and it's not really because they're bad people, but because of the harm they've committed and the danger they still pose to society. So on the same grounds we can justify limiting the rights of those whose infectious diseases pose severe health risks to others.

  2.  @richardlawson6787  Is it that weird though? I think it's understandable that the more someone diverges from your own beliefs, especially on key issues, the less likeable they become to you. If not that, then on what would you base liking or disliking someone?
