  5.  @RoyArrowood  I appreciate your comment, although calling Adams "evil" is rather odd. Why is he your favorite founding father? As to pricipled conservatives, it is true that Reagan compromised more than some of us would have liked, but he also got elected in two landslides, while Goldwater got trounced. In order to save the country as president, one first needs to get elected president.
