@houseadams4841 Sandra's response to the OP is correct. The OP didn't just say that the evidence fell short, but that he was certain they got the wrong guy. They probably did get the right guy, though. Whether or not there was sufficient evidence to convict is a different question.

@andy.s123 Someone broke into the house and she slept right through it? He then either rummaged through the house while she still slept right through it, then for no particular reason stuck an ax in her head and left, or else he first killed her and then rummaged through the house and took....nothing. Sorry, none of this makes any freaking sense.

@jillianpw9789 There is no chance he gets a new trial....he's dead.

@MaryTheresa1986 He was not convicted "solely based on statistics". Get serious.

@tankthearc9875 Twice fired as ME. Baden is a publicity hound. I don't trust him at all.

I trust Michael Baden as far as I can throw him. Publicity hound and fraud.

Unreasonable conclusion on your part. She was convinced that she had her guy, so yes, she did what she could to prove it.

@Earl_Wallace You weren't on the jury. Are you judging based upon a 42 minute television show you watched?

@buschovski1 You have more patience than I do for reading long comments sans punctuation.

Commenters are overwhelmingly on Krauseneck's side, some even demanding his immediate release. Well...he most likely killed her, as the alternative is absurd. Someone broke into the house and she slept right through it? He then either rummaged through the house while she still slept right through it, then for no particular reason stuck an ax in her head and left, or else he first killed her and then rummaged through the house and took....nothing. Sorry, none of this makes any freaking sense. Am I saying I would have voted to convict? Not necessarily. But don't tell me that there was no case against Krauseneck. As to him getting released? He's out already - and six feet under. Almost immediately after being convicted Krauseneck was diagnosed with cancer. He died within months.
