Kelly Siegler is absolutely amazing.

He paid $10k out of pocket for his defense. Catch him a break.

Friend did absolutely nothing wrong. He paid $10k out of his pocket for his defense, then testified truthfully about a knife.

Another commenter wrote that they re-investigated his prior cases after this disaster was exposed.

@BigPoppieSeed It absolutely does not. It used to happen a few times a year at its worst, a century ago or more. Now? The last one I can think of is Cameron Todd Willingham, around 15 years ago.

@fokthewef Glad to hear

Well, if the defendant has bad legal representation while facing an unethical prosecutor. And even then, the situation has improved dramatically since 1994.

@tonysolis8199 Care to source that remarkable claim? Because it's false.
6
@shellwirtful Keep shouting facts. The good news is that people of all colors are waking up. Look at what happened in November, thank God.

Kelly Siegler is awesome

Very few commenters went the race route, thankfully.

Considering the fact that this show made his exoneration clear from the first moment, and even in the title, that's around 7 minutes 40 seconds longer than it should have.

@shamainhussain5909 He's a troll. He wrote other such comments elsewhere.

Because he gave him $10,000 for his defense? Or because he was asked to testify that he gave him a knife, which he did?

The guy got the chair, so obviously that baloney story was not believed.

Not anymore!

Please source the claim of racism. You can't, of course. What would have happened had the perp (is he racist too?) instead fingered a white guy? Think the the lousy DA would have let it go? Stick with facts, not hatred and baseless accusations.
2
Please list the evidence that the prosecutor was racist. Go right ahead. Afterward, explain why Graves's accuser was black and the folks who got him out are white.
2
Why??!!
2
Unfair accusation. The friend gave him $10k (!) out of pocket for a lawyer. The knife testimony was accurate. He never said that Graves was guilty, only that he gave him a knife. Blame the prosecutor, not the friend.
2
Charles Sebesta is a bad guy. That is not basis to hate the US. If it's so bad here, leave.
2
Take a deep breath.

Only racists make everything about race, gladys. There is no evidence that this prosecutor saw color, only that he is a lousy prosecutor. Who accused Graves? A black man. Who worked to get him out? Lots of white folks.
1
Please show a STITCH of evidence that this had anything to do with race. The only race element is in your perspective, which is a you problem. Btw, Graves's accuser was black. The people who got him out are white.
1
It all works out in the end, I promise.

Save it for beyond any doubt

Another commenter wrote that they looked back at all his prior cases afterward. I hope so.
1
ZERO evidence that this was based upon race. Not everything is race, okay? Something is wrong with your perspective if you see race everywhere. PS: What color was Graves's accuser? What color are those who got him out?
1
Skip the racism, grandma. Did you not watch the end of the video?
1
The racist charge is without evidence. How do we know how he would have acted had the perp fingered a white accomplice instead? We don't.
