@nellyb2434 I think they did their best here. The facts of the case, though, made it extremely obvious that his wife set this up.

@jakeherter I hadn't thought about the "Live To Tell" angle; good point. The husband getting hit seven times while the guy doesn't shoot the wife - but does stick around long enough to tie her up? Come on, let's get serious. And the two were out together, meaning she would have been able to tip off the gunman and also make sure the hubby was where he was supposed to be when he was supposed to be. Plus his license plate didn't show up on camera, meaning he seemed to know where the cameras were. And of course, as various commenters noted, the wife is not interviewed. And all this in a safe, middle-class neighborhood. We true crime types have seen this movie many times before.
