@Pitbulllover77-y3l He is someone who wasn't just doing his job by rote, but cared deeply about his client, and expressed paternalistic feelings for a scared young woman who had no father figure. That's the way I saw it, and I'm sure I'm hardly the only one. Then again, I believe in giving people the benefit of the doubt, while all too many online, sadly, prefer to accuse first and ask questions later.

@Pitbulllover77-y3l Saying that you personally found it weird is very different than throwing out false accusations as if they were fact. When someone is fighting for their lives, it has a strong chance of getting very intense, very emotional. Some attorneys keep emotional distance, and go out for a round of golf after losing a life-and-death case. This guy obviously gets emotionally involved. He was far older than his client, and felt a paternalistic responsibility for her, stepping in for a void in her life. There is not a scintilla of evidence that he did anything inappropriate, or that he ever came into the same space as his client without her mom present, the mom who clearly appreciated his devotion to the case, who never said one word against him. Attacking someone's character and integrity based upon wild speculation - in a public forum, no less - is deeply wrong.

@angelaclinton9847 There is no way around the fact that she was a terrible mom. Signing away three children and moving out of their lives under any circumstance is indefensible, and that is true even if the dubious abuse claims aren't.

I spent a lot of time reading up, and the evidence looks terrible for Mindy. I believe that 95% of her claims were false.

@Pitbulllover77-y3l Because it doesn't matter if Mindy wasn't bothered by it, and her mother wasn't either, and none of the CBS techs in the room thought anything of it, because it is much more important to listen to the online busybodies with too much time on their hands who get off by firing off accusations in all directions, evidence not needed. Right?

As any rational person with even a modicum of intelligence understands, no one - not me, not anyone else - would defend the supposed misbehavior of the attorney if only the claim were true. The point is, many, including yourself, are throwing out an accusation of massive impropriety - IF ONLY IT WERE TRUE. Those of us who rightly note that a serious accusation requires serious evidence are pointing out that accusing people of massive wrongdoing - in public, no less - without a shred of evidence? That is highly improper behavior, and smells of slander, quite possibly driven by virtue signaling. Your defense - that because the claim is heavy, it must necessarily be true without any evidence, and furthermore anyone denying the baseless claim necessarily supports the highly improper behavior alleged, despite the lack of evidence? As I wrote above, no great amount of intelligence, wisdom or integrity is necessary to see through both the foolishness and immorality of such an absurd accusation. But it seems that those who have no problem accusing the attorney without evidence are just as happy to falsely accuse online commenters as well. Par for the course, I guess.

Everyone who watched this video saw that she was released in 2013 (although most wouldn't know that there is currently an open warrant in Ohio for her arrest). So you made two accusations, both of which were absurd and non-sensical. Everything okay there?

@Pitbulllover77-y3l "Facts trump feelings". Thank you! I couldn't have said it better myself. If you wanted to prove in a court of law any allegation you were making here, you would fail completely. Because you are relying exclusively on some amorphous "feelings", but emphatically have no provable facts here. Let that be a good general rule: If you couldn't get to first base with it in a court of law (I enjoy mixed metaphors), then don't accuse people of it. Expecially if the accusation is as heavy as this is one is, false as it is.
